Directions say to glue down to van with product that is not easy to find. Plus, once glued down, I can no longer use my roof rack for anything else.

We purchased one tension rafter and it has been a key addition to our Thule HideAway Awning. It provides peace of mind, knowing that our awning is secure and stable when it gets windy. Highly recommend!

Will work but I wish it collapsed down smaller.

The part # TH307309 is 98-3/8 inches long and the part # TH307307 instead is 78-3/4 inches. Either one will work but it comes down to what length you would want to have the awning at.
