The hitch opening of the Curt Hitch part # C11192 will sit directly underneath the lower fascia of your 2013 Audi A3 once installed. To determine how much ground clearance this hitch will have on your vehicle you will need to measure the distance from the bottom of the lower fascia on your vehicle to the ground and then subtract about 1-1/4 inches to get a very close approximation. The only solution we have for a 2012 Audi A3 for towing behind a motorhome would be with a tow dolly like the Demco Kar Kaddy part # DM9713093. There isn't a flat towing setup that has been confirmed as a fit and if a Golf setup would work it would definitely be listed.

Hands down my favorite trunk mount rack is the Yakima FullBack 2 Bike Rack # Y02634 which fits your 2012 Audi A3 when you place the base pad 1" above the bumper and place the hub setting at 5.
