Recommended Bike Rack for 2015 Audi A3 Convertible  

Question:

love your website. just received as birthday gift a Yakima trunk bike rack for my A3 convertible. but fine print on inside says that it is NOT recommended for the A3 any thoughts on something else i should look to? or it is hopeless to do bike rack for the A# convertible? thanks.

I have just the trunk mounted bike rack for your 2015 Audi A3 convertible. Check out the Saris Bones. This rack is available in a 2-bike version, # SA805BL, and a 3-bike version Saris Bones EX, # SA803. There are also several different colors available that can be seen on the fit guide page that I linked for you.

At this time these are the only trunk mount bike racks listed as a fit for your vehicle.

If you will be carrying any women's, children's or alternative frame bikes that lack the traditional horizontal top tube, I recommend picking up a bike adapter bar like part # SA3040. Bikes with small or angled frames can be difficult to load on a bike rack and they can create ground clearance issues. This adapter will allow you to mount those bikes easily and safely. I have attached a review video of this adapter for you as well.
