Trunk Mount Bike Rack for a 2013 Audi A3 Hatchback and 3 Beach Cruiser Bikes

Saris Bones 3 & Audi A3 Hatchback I have a 2013 A3, I carry two road bikes and surfboards on roof rack, but looking to carry 3 beach cruisers on back... possible? Thanks.

While the 3-bike version of the Saris Bones bike rack # SA801BL physically fits your 2013 Audi A3 hatchback it is limited to 2 bikes according to the fit notes from Saris. I have a couple of 3-bike racks that will work though:

We have the Hollywood Racks Express # HRE3 which is a very basic rack and does not have anti-sway cradles.

Then the best choice is the Over-the-Top # HRF2-3 which is the perfect option if your A3 hatchback has that spoiler piece at the top of the hatch. This rack has an extra arm piece that moves the top straps up and over the spoiler so no stress is put on it.

Both racks are rated for 35 pounds per bike. I have linked videos of them for you.

If you will be carrying any bikes that do not have a top frame bar that goes straight across (like a typical men's bike would) then I recommend using bike adapter bar # 64005. This will allow you to carry those bikes more level and will provide better ground clearance. I have linked a video showing how the adapter works.
