- I have a solution for you, but the hitch you referenced is for the Outlander Sport models and would not be correct for your 2015 Outlander GT.
The Curt hitch part # C13163 would be the correct fitting hitch. Dropping the exhaust is actually not as difficult as it sounds. It basically involves prying the rubber isolators off of the exhaust hangers and then allowing the exhaust to lower a few inches. It's not as scary as it sounds, I promise.
