Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Today, we're taking a look at the Buyers Products Underbody Toolbox. And this is going to give us an easy place to store our tools and other equipment underneath our truck, or RV, and have those out of the way but still easily accessible. This is going to be a double-walled design made out of a solid polyethylene material, so it should be durable enough to withstand the elements and be out on the road exposed to road salts, dirt, grime, water, all that good stuff without damaging your contents or actually damaging the box.It does have this little latch here to undo it. Comes with two keys to operate the lock.

So whenever you lock that up, it's going to not allow this pin to turn. Normally, you would want to turn it clockwise to open it up, but you won't be able to there. Unlock it. We can turn that and open it up.On the inside, you can see that double wall design. We'll have this gasket here to keep out any of that dirt, debris, and weather.

So again, it'll keep all our stuff inside there nice and dry and away from any kind of theft.The couple of the drawbacks to this box that I would note is that these hinges can get a little bound up just with the way that S hook is attached on either side. You can see this one's already popping out of that little islet, so it's not the best system. And it also wants to come out of its attachment point there because it should lay more flat like that. So that's one drawback that I've seen just handling this here in the shop. Whenever we go to close it up, the chains can come out, so you might have to be careful of that as you close it.

And there's a good chance that you have stronger hands than me, but whenever I go to close this, I had a really hard time, especially because the edges of this little handle are pointy and they dig into the palm of my hand. So I'm not a huge fan of that. But went a little easier that time, so maybe over time that mechanism will wear just a little bit so that it opens and closes a little bit easier as you use it. But just a couple of things that I noted that if you have your hand on the outside, it can bite into the palm of your hand there. Not necessarily a deal breaker, but just something I wanted to mention to you guys to note.Now, this is going to be 18 inches deep by 18 inches tall and 48 inches long, so it's going to hold a lot of stuff for us.

It's also available in two other sizes. It's going to be the same as far as the depth and height, but we'll have one that's a 36-inch version and then one that's just an 18-inches squared or 18-inches cube. So 18 by 18 by 18. It does have a one-year warranty and it is made in the USA. That's going to do it for our look at the Buyers Products Underbody Toolbox in black.
