How are Underbody Toolboxes Installed on Trucks or Trailers
Question:
Underbody toolbox mounting? How is it done?

You would have to drill through the box and use hardware obtained locally that matches the material you are mounting the box to. Other people have constructed trays that basically cradle the box and the trays are secure to the bottom of the trailer or vehicle and the box to the tray.
I like to keep it simple and just attach the box directly as described above. You would also want to use some silicone sealant such as # 0160297 to keep moisture out of the box.
If drilling into a vehicle frame you may want to use a high quality drill bit like a 1/2" Rotabroach bit.
