Today we're going to take a look at these black steel mounting brackets for the Buyers Products 24 inch and 36 inch wide poly toolboxes. Now these steel mounting brackets are for the Buyers Products polymers truck boxes. These brackets are lightweight, corrosion resistant. They are formed from a strong C channel, A36 steel and these angled pre-drilled brackets are black powder coated to give you an extra layer of protection from any rust or the elements. They are designed to securely hold your polymer underbody truck box and they are designed for exact fit and built for long wear, keeping their shape with the welded angle braces that can handle constant road vibration and impact without fail.It does include these two angle brackets, the one cross brace, a set of detailed mounting instructions. Now the hardware to put these on is not included.
Again, these are heavy duty, two inch C channel constructions designed to fit inside the toolbox ribs. Basically, when you mount these, they are to be placed on 18 inch centers for proper installation of this cross brace, and they are built for strength and secure weldability with the A36 steel. They are easy mounting with the pre-drilled. There's two holes here and two here. They are 7/16 pre drilled diameter mounting holes.
We had mentioned the corrosion resistant black powder coat finish over them.A few dimensions on the bracket. Width on them is right at 14 inches wide. Height on it is 15 inches tall. Total weight on the two brackets and the cross brace is about 14 pounds. They are made in the USA.
But basically what you would do is on these brackets, they have an outer flat surface right here. This will mount to the vehicles frame. And then the inner flat surface right here is mounted to the tool box. So if this is installed like this, your toolbox would sit right on here.
