Today we're going to take a look at the RC Manufacturing textured, black M-Series Underbody Toolbox. Now RC Manufacturing will offer the most weather-tight toolboxes in the industry. These are made for heavy duty applications. This one alone weighs about 65 to 70 pounds and on their toolboxes they do more bend lines and fewer welds to eliminate all the leak points. And it is made in the USA. Now this does use an anchor style compression latch, with a cylinder lock.

Does come with the two keys.So, to open it. And the anchor design, you can see the opening looks like an anchor right there, so you put your key in, turn it a quarter of a turn and just pull out on that until it goes up and then you just twist it and you can twist it either way, whichever way you prefer. And then you can just lower the whole front door down. It is a double bottom hinging swing down door and you can see it's a pan form design door. It does use these heavy duty retainer chains and you can adjust them right up here just by lifting them up and adjusting them if you don't want it to open all the way down.

If you just want it open just part of the way, you can adjust with the chains.The hinge we mentioned, it's a stainless steel L shape or piano type hinge. The seal they use on this is a really nice automotive grade style bulb seal all the way around. So when this lid is closed it is watertight, weathertight.The finish you can see on it, on the outside and even on the inside is a nice powder-coated textured black finish. And give you a few dimensions on this just to show you, here's your, you can see your lock right here, just goes up against here and you can't really open it. So you just push the lid up, turn it, push it down, then put it a quarter of a turn and it'll lock it into place.

And it is flush so nobody can pry on it or anything.Do want to give you some dimensions on this. We're going to do the overall length. Going to be right at 24 inches long. The width on it, and I'm going to include the front door, it's going to be right at 18 inches.
