Radial tire has an 18-ply rating and a 5,675-lb max load at 127 psi. Hub-piloted steel wheel has an 8 on 275 mm (10.83") bolt pattern, a 5.59" offset, and a 3-step powder coat. Can be either the inner or outer wheel of a dual-wheel setup.

Built-In Offset for Dual Applications
This tire-and-wheel assembly is designed to be used in dual-wheel setups. The 5.59" offset allows the wheel to be positioned closer to the trailer frame when used as the inner wheel of the setup. And if you use this assembly as the outer tire and wheel, the offset ensures that it will sit closer to the outside of your trailer. This hub-piloted wheel centers on the hub, not the lugs, and it requires the use of flange nuts (sold separately) for installation.
Corrosion-Resistant Finish
The steel wheel goes through a 3-step finishing process that makes it both attractive and corrosion resistant. The wheel is first submerged in a zinc phosphate bath to ensure good paint adhesion. It is then e-coated with an acrylic primer base and finished on both sides with baked-on DuPont powder paint.
Provider radials are constructed with double polyester cords and double steel belts for increased durability and endurance. A protective layer of nylon is wrapped around the steel belts to help prevent tread separation. Provider radials are bake tested - a process usually reserved for automotive tires - to ensure that the rubber holds up over time.
Radial ply tires are designed for trailers that are towed on the highway. The cords on a radial tire are positioned at a 90-degree angle to the direction of travel so that they lay across the width of the tire from wheel lip to wheel lip. This construction prevents the cords from rubbing against one another when the tire flexes, unlike the cords on a bias ply tire. As a result, radial tires have less rolling resistance and heat buildup, which leads to a longer tread life and improved steering at higher speeds.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Speaker 1: Today, we're going to take a look at the Provider 235-75R 17.5 radial tire in a load range J on this 17-1/2" white dual wheel with an 8 on 275 millimeter bolt pattern. Now this tire wheel assembly is designed for use on dually trucks, buses, and trailers. The wheel offset on this wheel will allow the assembly to be used as either an inner or an outer wheel on a dual wheel set up. The wheel is a heavy duty steel wheel. It is a four hand hole design. You can see the hand holes right here on the side, and it's very sturdy and corrosion resistant. Now the wheel itself goes through a three-step finishing process, which will first include a zinc phosphate bath, then an ink coat primer, and then they do a white powder coat on both the front and the back of the wheel.
If you notice the wheel, the center disc here is spun form from a fine grain steel, and then it's welded into place for strength and durability. This is a hub piloted wheel, so it does require the use of flange nuts for installation. We do sell them separately on our website, and we usually list them on this product page as a related product. Now the tire that's mounted on this is a radial tire. It's constructed with double steel belts, double polyester cords, for a nice long life. It's great for highway use.
They do use a nylon tread inaudible 00:01:16 to help prevent tread separation, and this tread on these large tires are stamped on the sidewall, re-grooveable for additional mileage, but you do want to check with your local authorities because federal and state laws will apply. The tire also is bake tested to ensure that the rubber will hold up over time. This whole tire and wheel assembly will meet the DOT, Department of Transportation, specifications, and it will exceed your federal motor vehicle safety standards. A few specs on this. We'll start with the wheel, the diameter which is measured inside to inside, or bead seat to bead seat, 17-1/2" in diameter. The width on just the wheel is 6-3/4" wide.
The bolt pattern on this is an 8 on 275 millimeters. It does require the lug size of 5/8 by 18, and again it needs to be a flange nut. The weight capacity on just the wheel by itself is 5,675 pounds. The pilot diameter, which is this large hole here, this is 8.7".Now, the offset on this wheel just depends on how you use it. You could use it as an inner or an outer.
It would be either a positive 5.59, or a negative 5.59". The tire size, which is stamped on the sidewall, 235-75R 17.5. The R means it's a radial tire. Section width on this is 9.2". Overall diameter when it's inflated is 31.4". Again, this tire is a load range J, which means it's an 18 fly rated tire, so it has a maximum load capacity as used as dual tire would be 5,675 pounds, and a 127 PSI. The last thing I do want to mention is most all your trailer tires are now coming through with a speed rating stamped on them, and if you look right after the size we just went over there's a block here that'll have two numbers and then the letter M. Speed rating M means that it's an 81 mile per hour speed rated tire. That should do it for the review on the Provider 235-75R 17.5 Radial Tire in a load range J, on a 17-1/2" white dual wheel, with the 8 on 275 millimeter bolt pattern.

I haven't installed the wheels and tires on my trailer axles yet. I like what I received they work as good as they look I'll be well satisfied.
Received the tires in 5 day and they bolted right on to my 10 ton trailer, these are some good looking tires!
It took a while to receive my order which is the new normal, I was impressed by the regular updates I received of the status of my order. I understand you can’t ship something you haven’t received, but the updates made it seem more personal for a online order. Thanks
Excellent set of wheels and rubber.
Also I converted electric brakes (all four) to server motor powered hydraulic (caliper). They operate in either forward or reverse.
Rather impressive.
When I found your web page I was a little skeptical, the pricing on the tires and rims was good but I figured the shipping would kill us getting 8 tires and rims to Alaska. I was wrong, it was way less than I figured. I will definitely order from you folks again!
Thanks, you saved us a lot from what it would cost us up here.
I had a double blow out and one of my rims cracked. So I ordered these and they look great. I plan on installing them on my gooseneck this weekend. The four lighted 7 way plugs are awesome. I am slowly changing all 15 of my trailers over to these plugs. In the daytime it's hard to tell if everything is working or that a fuse hasn't blown, so these lighted plugs help you trust your connection. Thanks for the great pricing and prompt shipping.
Tire and wheel combo fit perfect. Workmanship on the wheel was better than the factory wheel I was replacing. The tire looks to be a heavy duty tire but only time will tell. This tire and wheel combo was installed on a 2017 Trailmax TD40T Tilt Trailer. etrailer has a lot of great info and there prices where the best I could find. The best part was that the tire wheel combo showed up in 2 days, that is some quick shipping.
Great product and fast shipping. Although it came with a half metal, half rubber valve stem and I have found that it’s neccessary to have a full metal valve stem with a 110psi tire and the temperatures they can reach.
The tires and wheels were delivered in less time than quoted ! Overall completely satisfied!!
Taping some foam to the wheel mounting surface would do wonders to keep from having to paint brand new wheels that had the paint scratched off.
Shipping was fast!!!!! Love how much thicker the material is on these wheels. I bought these to replace some ebay wheels that keep leaking on the welds. So far so good. [Thumbs Up]
Great rim and tire
Just what I expected from etrailer
Perfect!
