Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.
- If D = 2-5/8", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-1/2"
- If D = 2-3/4", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-3/4"
- If D = 3", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 5"
- If D = 3-1/4", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 5-1/2"

Today, we're going to take a look at the Lionshead 17 1/2"x6 3/3" Lynx silver machine aluminum trailer wheel with the 8 on 6 1/2" bolt pattern. Now, this is an aluminum wheel. It's very durable, lightweight, and rustproof. This one is the nice, attractive 8-spoke Lynx series design. It has a silver machine face on the spokes and on the lip with a silver accent between the spokes. They do use a nice automotive grade clear coat finish on the front, protects it from any scuffs or scratches.
Now, this wheel is a hub-piloted wheel. Means it has a pilot hole diameter of 4.75". So, when this is installed on your vehicle or trailer, it'll go exactly over the hub size.Now, to hold it in place. It does require the use of 5/8" swivel flange nuts for installation. Those are not included.
Those are sold separately. We sell them on the website. It's part number LI84FR, and I happened to pull one of those lug nuts, just to show you what they look like. And again, this is listed on the product page as a related product. Just to zoom in to show you here's the...
and they are a swivel design and they're a 5/8" diameter size. Basically when you install them, they will go right on the bolts that come through here and install just like that.Now, we also sell a lug nut cover. If you just don't want to see the lug nut by itself. We sell a lug nut cover. It's a plastic chrome cover that'll clip over the lug nut, and it's sold separately.
Also, it's part number LI74FR, and you can see that once this is installed, then you can pop this right over the lug, and it'll give you a nice finished look to the wheel.Now, the center cap that goes on this, if you prefer to have a center cap, it does not come with one. That is sold separately, and that is part number LI64FR, and this is what the center cap would look like, and basically what the center cap would do, it would install right over the hub like that, and it's held in place when you put all your lug nuts on, the edge of the lug nut will hold the center cap in place on the wheel. Come and see just like that.Now, if you notice the metal valve stem is included. That's already installed in the wheel right down here. Now, they do offer a complimentary roadside assistance for two years, also a flat tire service is available 24/7, anywhere in the US, Canada, or Puerto Rico. This wheel does meet the DOT specifications, Department of Transportation and the J1204 Standards.A few dimensions on this wheel. The diameter of it is 17 1/2". That'll always be measured inside the inside. So, if we take our tape measure, and if we go all the way across inside to inside is 17 1/2". the width is the same way and inside the inside. So, it's going to be right at 6 3/4" wide. We mentioned the bolt pattern is an 8 on 6 1/2" bolt pattern, and if you wanted to measure that, it's pretty easy.Any wheel that has an even number of lugs, like in this case, eight, the lug holes are right across from each other. So, if you pick any hole, let's say this one, you measure from the center of this hole, to the center of the hole, right across from it. This wheel, it'll measure 6 1/2". So 8 lug 6 1/2" bolt pattern, and the weight capacity on this wheel is 6,050 pounds.But that should do it for the review on the Lionshead 17 1/2"x6 3/4" Lynx silver machine aluminum trailer wheel with the 8 on 6 1/2" bolt pattern.

I chose this wheel due to the fact it was half the price of my original, and I like the looks of it better than the original. Having now a mismatched set of wheels on a tandem trailer, I plan to order another so at least from one side of the trailer will look correct. Britney was awesome to work with and so helpful. I just ordered new Kenda Karrier Load Star tires and had them mounted on these Lionshead wheels. I also purchased chrome wheel lug nuts, and the chrome hub covers. The final combo looks pretty good. The only thing I have to pick up are a couple of sets of McGard Locking Lug nuts. I'll have to purchase those from a different vendor, because etrailer doesn't sell McGard products, but thats ok. Can't wait to hit the road with the trailer. The trailer has taken on a new appearance, And the new E rated tires should perform really well.

We were on the road when the original rim cracked on our VanLeigh. We ordered this replacement which was sent in a box two-three times the size of the rim with a couple pieces of packing paper. The rim slid around in the box with little to no protection. Though the rim, at this time, will work, I expected more from etrailer. Sending wheels in a box two-three times the size of the wheel is unacceptable. Do better etrailer!

Only place I could find my exact wheel for my trailer ! Shipped earlier than expected. The down side was when the wheel got here the lip was all scratched up. I was let down as this is a new product should be in new mint condition but fresh out the box it was under scratched up. Read this on a previous review but didn’t think much about it. Just be cautious as your product may not be in new perfect condition when you get it….. for 220 dollars you expect new condition not seconds with imperfections

The wheels you sent does not match the description you have the correct diminutions!! I order wheels that were 15 X 5" as you listed. The wheels I received are 6" wide from the inside of the rims!!

- Spare Wheel Needed For a 2017 DRV 5TH Wheel Camper 17.5 X 6.75 with 8 on 6.5 Lug 5/8 Wheel StudCurrently the Aluminum Lynx Trailer Wheel # LI44FR is the only lug centric 17.5 X 6.75 wheel with a 8 on 6.5" lug pattern and zero offset that fits a 5/8" wheel stud we carry. The only concern I have is the pilot hole borecenter size. This wheel only has a 4.75" pilot hole. As you do have a lug centric wheel it may still fit your axle. You will need to measure the center hub on your 2017 DRV 5th Wheel camper to determine if the smaller pilot hole size will fit. To measure this you will...
