Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.
- If D = 2-5/8", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-1/2"
- If D = 2-3/4", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-3/4"
- If D = 3", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 5"
- If D = 3-1/4", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 5-1/2"

I think the product is good quality but to expensive and when I paid to have it overnighted on Monday it did not arrive until today. I have to purchase another rim of the same type and will not be using this sight.

Recently purchased a 1972 camper that did not have a spare rim/tire so I found this one online and it arrived within three days of ordering. Had a new tire mounted on it and it fits perfectly. Better yet, it is made in USA!

I searched for 3 weeks for a spare for my old Trailer with 14” Dayton Fayette rim and etrailer was the only place I could find it….. The Dexstar wheel AM20312 was a perfect fit. Save yourself the frustration and just order it. I received it a few days earlier than expected.

This was a lifesaver for us. We have a vintage camper that didn't have a spare. The rim was very hard to find but etrailer had one! And it fits perfectly. We were worried there would be trouble since the axel has a star pattern on it. But it works! So happy. Shipping was super fast too! Just wish it wasn't so expensive.

Our original trailer that we copied had over 250,000 towing miles on it ,at least 10,000 with extention alowing a 1961 &62 mini & Sprite Ashley race cars to be towed togeather ( they almost kiss ) Even after blasting & rewelding wheels several year's ago and building new trailer I was still conserned. We had a flat coming back from PVGP and the rims just scared us. So thankfully Etrailer had new ones ( we had been told such were not avalabul many times at other suppliers ) Even at [this price] each they were a good deal ,just for peace of mind . Thank You Pete

If I had a choice I would rather have the newer style wheel, but I have these on my trailer and I had a hard time finding them available. When I found them on etrailer I procrastinated to buy them because I thought they were very expensive. After spending a lot of time looking for used ones and looking at other places I decided that the price was what I had to pay. etrailders price was the lost because they included the shipping costs. This is not the only thing I bought from etrailer because the trailer I have is a 1962 model and etrailer carries the parts that I needed. Shipping was fast and excellent. I will be back

Thank you for sending a very hard to find older type boat trailer rim. It fit perfect and had a quality paint job. I ended up not buying the boat but it was comforting knowing I had a spare in the event I had towed it hundreds of miles back home. I am still looking for a similar boat that uses the same wheel so will probably end up keeping it.

I just wanted to write and say thank you to etrailer. There is no way I would have found a spare wheel for my 1982 Play-Mor without etrailer. The star shaped 4 on 9.44 is pretty much impossible to find locally.

Had a hard time finding anywhere else offering this rim and bolt pattern. Using this as a spare tire so I haven't put it on the camper but it arrived packed well, and very quickly I might add, for a price I was comfortable with. Would buy again.

Also, with the lug nuts being loose - that's usually associated with under-torqueing, over-torqueing, differential thermal contraction, and improper mating surfaces, so I'd say that may have been the snowball that caused the wheels to break. I'm confident with the new thicker wheels and properly torqued lug nuts, that you won't have this issue again.
