Speaker 1: Today we're gonna take a look at the Optronics Identification Light Bar for trailers over 80 inches wide. This is going to be a waterproof light that's going to be designed for trailers that again are wider than 80 inches. This is going to surface mount to your trailer. It has two holes on either side so you can bolt that into place. This is going to be DOT approved and it functions as an identification light with those three Optronics MCL 14 Series Lights. These are replaceable using part number MCL14RGB, which are sold separately.

There going to be sonically sealed and they're gonna have a waterproof housing and lens. There's durable surface mount technology construction so the LED's are gonna be able to better withstand shock and vibration as well as they're going to have improved heat distribution so you don't have to worry about these wearing out, even if we're going over uneven terrain or pavement. They're gonna stand up to a lot of abuse that way.And of course LED's are always gonna be a great replacement for incandescent lights since they last up to 50 times longer, they're more efficient, provide brighter light with less power output and there's no bulbs to replace. You don't have to worry about any brittle filaments busting on you and then you have to replace that bulb and get in there and rewire everything. This is gonna be a really durable long lasting light.

It's gonna have those two leads. We're gonna have our black wire for power, white wire for ground. If we turn on our power here, you'll see just how bright that light is. Let me turn out the lights in the studio so you can get a better idea how much that illuminates. So as you can see it's gonna be a nice bright red light on the back of your trailer.As far as the dimensions, this is going to be 17 and five 16ths of an inch long by 1 and a quarter of an inch tall and about 15 16ths deep.

So if you turn this sideways it's gonna be just under an inch deep. The lead wire length coming off the back, it's gonna be about seven inches. So if we undo our alligator clips there, that wire coming off the back is seven inches so that should give you plenty of wire to get this connected. It does come with pre attached connectors on the end there so you can plug those right into your light wiring or cut these off and strip them and use either a butt connector or heat shrink or something to get that all connected correctly. There is going to be a lifetime warranty on those LED's and the power draw for this is going to be one, or point one four seven amps at 12 point eight volts DC.And that's gonna do it for our look at the Optronics Identification Light Bar for trailers over 80 inches wide..
