Sealed, Waterproof Trailer Light

The waterproof construction of this light makes it ideal for use on trailers that may be submerged, like a boat trailer. The circuit board is sealed, which means that water will not damage the diodes or circuit board.

PC-Rated Lights

Diagram of light spread for PC rated light

A PC-rated light produces a 90-degree angle of light to either side of its centerline for a total of 180 degrees of coverage. This beam pattern can be clearly seen when you are standing directly in front of the light, as well as when you are standing on either side of the light. When properly installed, this type of light can function as both a front clearance light and a side marker light or as a rear clearance light and a side marker light.

I bought a couple more of these two-diode LED clearance lights to add some more lighting to the rear of my kayak trailer. They work nice and are easy to install in 3/4" holes that I drilled through a piece of aluminum angle. The trailer has orange clearance lights on the front sides, red clearance lights on the back sides, the stop/turn/parking lights on the back, three red clearance lights on the back, and a white LED license plate light. It's really lit up and very visible at night from the rear and sides. Thanks to etrailer.com for great products and services!
My wife and I like to kayak, but we don't like to deal with putting our kayaks on roof racks on the top of a car. So I bought a used Load-Rite trailer that was designed to hold one Jet Ski, and added a frame made of slotted angle and 2x6 lumber to hold the kayaks, and a cargo box from Tractor Supply to hold kayak seats, life jackets, towels, sun-protection clothing, and some spare gear (ropes etc), and bought all new LED lighting from etrailer.com. The paddles are too long for the cargo box so they have to go in the car! The kayaks are tied down to the trailer with several ropes front and rear, so there is a lot of safety factor in the design....I don't worry about the kayaks coming off the trailer! The entire rig works great....when we return from a kayak trip we just back the trailer in the barn and it's ready to go for our next trip. I put a 5" diameter wheel on the trailer just behind the hitch so I can push it around on flat level surfaces. See the pictures.

Those lights, and all the lighting and trailer wiring products that I bought from etrailer.com, are working great! I used to have constant problems with the lights on my trailer until I switched everything out to the LED lights from etrailer.com! Now they work every time we use the trailer knock on wood!.

Great addition to the basic, rear brake lights of a camp trailer.
I added these LED RED to the brake/turn function, within the existing, small holes in the rear bumper--much more apparent when stopping/turning.
These sealed LED lights are very common on larger trucks and trailers now. Easy to install and very robust assembly...priced right!

Always great, tested products from ETrailer. These LED lights did not disappoint...still shining brightly. Thanks!

I ordered these light to be used as accent light on a new lift table for my company. I needed low profile and fairly bright red light to be reflected off our off-white power coat. These little lights out preformed what we were hoping for. The only thing I don't like about them is the instructions say to drill a 11.16" hole. Assembly was WAY too tight at that dimension. So we stepped it up a fraction at a time and found that 17/64" (.73) and 3/4" (.75) were perfect. Even at 3/4" the grommet was snug and water tight. The light had to be squeezed into place but at 11/16" I felt like I was about to brake the light.
Overall I am super pleased with the lights. We added them to the Bill of Materials and we will be ordering them for these new carts.

Love these l.e.d. lights. Had seen exact same lights on a new truck at work and wanted them for my personal truck. Found them here on etrailer at a great price. They are really bright for such a small light and low current draw. Simple, fast install.

I needed a couple of small lights for a little trailer I am building to pull my grandsons behind my golf cart and these look to be a great product at a great price. Thanks again etrailer

by:

excellent quality on these parts, the items I received were exactly what I was expecting from the online pictures.

by:

I really like these little corner marker lights. Just drill a hole then pop in the grommet and light.

They are bullet proof! No need to buy elsewhere.

I bought 6 of these lights to put on my jet ski trailer. 4 amber and 2 red. And they are very bright. I highly suggest putting these lights onto your fenders. I put an amber and a red one on each fender in their appropriate locations of course. It helps when backing up into small dimly lit spaces at night...like a driveway The red ones reflect off of whatever you are backing towards...and the amber ones give you an idea how close you are to walls or trees in the side mirrors.

Just be cautious when you put them in. Make sure that in your mind everything is good to go (like, say, the wiring), and you do not need to pull it back out. If you push it in all the way...good luck getting it out. The grommet mushrooms out at the bottom basically locking it in place. If there was a warning about this on this site and I missed it...my bad.

I just made sure I left them all loose until I was done, made sure the wires in the trailer (especially the ground wire) were not getting stretched or pinched, as my trailer is old, and then pressed them all in by hand. I made the mistake of pressing one into my passenger fender...just to see how it looked. This was before I started wiring anything. At this point I was drilling the 3/4" holes...which by the way is very time consuming. I spent a few minutes trying to remove it without damaging the wires. No luck. Not even a little did it want to budge. And I was able to get at it from the top and bottom. Thank goodness this didn't happen with the holes I put into the sides of the trailer because I think I may have had to destroy that light just to get it out and wire it up, which would have sucked because I think that would have pissed me off to the point of not even wanting to use the lights anymore and I would have picked something else out. And that would have been a shame because these lights put out an incredible amount of light.

When you put them in the first time, they give off a sort of weird glow. I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me at first.

If you manually adjust the lights to the proper DOT code or whatever, they look good. But, if you rotate them so that they are horizontal instead of vertical, they put out a ton of light towards the street. What I'm saying is...if you want to change it up, you can turn them all horizontal in a matter of seconds, and be lighting up the road...literally...just like the neon vehicle underbody kits of the 90's. Admit it. You thought they were cool too. Now, you can sort of have that, except it's legal.

I went overkill on my small trailer. At least I thought I did. Now, after using it at night, I am more than satisfied. What a huge difference these tiny lights make.

A++++SELLER. WOULD BUY AGAIN. ASSET TO ETRAILER.COM

What a great idea. Follow up with customers to get feedback. That way you can tell if the products are still good or if they have limited lifespans. You get to see if people are still happy and get them thinking about your company again if theyre in the market for more trailer stuff. To answer your question, I do not have them anymore. I sold all of my gear, but do know they are still working. I really liked those small lights. They put out an incredible amount of light and were easy to install once I drilled holes into my old trailer.

by:

These are some bright LEDs! I'm going to use them as rear bumper accent lights on my truck and judging from their quality I would believe they will last for a very long time. They arrived very quickly-so fast that I am now waiting to receive the waterproof connectors that I purchased from another vendor. I would buy these LEDs again!

Youre very welcome for the product reviews I was glad to do them. The lights are excellent little marker lights and are noticeably bright. I custom installed them on the front and rear of my 2015 F150 and many times I have been asked by other folks where I got them. I have always pointed them in your direction so may be youve gotten a few sales!

by:

I ordered two small trailer lights from this place, when they came, for whatever reason, they weren't the same light. Kim P. at e-trailer went out of her way as far as I was concerned to make sure I got taken care of and got the right light coming. Outstanding customer service! Would definitely buy from this place again.

excellent product, good place to do business with!

by:

I use these led lights as running clearance lights on my Polaris Slingshot in the fender cut outs that get a lot of water splashed on them, not to mention dirt, dust and road grime and they keep working well.

After a year, still working with no issues.

by:

Great product, i put these lights on boat tralier for marker lights, much brighter than original ones

by:

I Love these little LED clearance lights, super easy to install and they are very durable. One year later and they still work and look like new.

They are still working great!

by:

These lights are bright and were easy to install. I ran additional red lights in the back of the trailer and amber down the sides. While the trailer is only 22' long, it's fully visible now.

Just be sure to test fit in a thin piece of material prior to drilling into your trailer. I did find the need to use a slightly different sized drill bit for proper fitment.

As always, ordering from etrailer was simple and the product came quickly. There was no damage to the contents as it was packed well.

by:

Purchased (3) of these Mini LED lights to install on a over 80" boat trailer. The v shape frame didn't have enough room to mount a (3)
light Identification light bar on the frame because of the center roller mounted on the frame.

I drilled a 3/4" hole in the center of the frame under the roller to mount the middle light, then drilled holes for the outer lights 6" from the center to mount the other lights. The rubber grommets fit snug in the 3/4" holes.

At night these (3) mini LED's shows up just like a Identification Light Bar.

by:

these lights are very bright for their size...im using two of them on the bow guides of my boat trailer as a second set of brake lights...it would be nice if they were a 3 wire setup so they could stay light when the running lights are on as well as work together with the brake lights but for the price you just cant go wrong...LED's seem to last forever so spend the money once and never mess with them again

by:

they are great! no troubles whatsoever .I have then on my boat trailer (20) on a 16 footer, even 2 clear ones for back up lights. I beat on them never even unplug them when i put it under the water to launch or land the boat ,,,,,,,,
Also on my flat bed still adding ones on it lol.

by:

Nice and bright, let me add a light higher on my small utility trailer so it's easier to see behind my truck.

Great! Thought I had a problem with them, turns out it was rodents! I put the lights at the top of the trailer ramp on either side so I can see it better when towing in the dark.

MCL11akb: Uni-Lite LED Clearance and Side Marker Light w Grommet - Submersible - 2 Diodes - Amber Lens - MCL11AKB Purchased both the AMBER and RED. Very BRIGHT for such a small light. 2 LED, are better then another brand I purchased that had 1 LED that was supposed to be brighter then the 2, it Wasn't. I like this product, used the amber on the front of the truck, used the RED to highlight some spots on the rear of the trailer. High Quality Rubber Grommet, solid construction, water proof. Which the wires came with connectors. For the money its' a solid purchase.

by:

These lights will be installed on my 48 ft step deck trailer. My old lights stick out about an inch or so and I am constantly breaking them off when I chain a load down. These lights stick out about a 1/4 inch and should not get broken also this model has 2 diodes instead of only one. Etrailer gave me fast delivery at a very good price I will be a returning customer.

by:

I am repurposing a trailer that I built 20 years ago and after lots of cutting and welding to lengthen the trailer 6 feet, I decided to install a new electrical system including all new LED lights. I purchased two amber, and five red, of these small 3/4" lights. The two ember were used for the front marker lights and two of the red were used for rear marker lights on the corners. The other three were used across the rear for rear marker lights. The lights are very bright and were simple to install and wire up. They had them in stock and shipped them to me within three days.

by:

very bright, and if you turn the bulb 90 degrees one way, they shine sideways. very cool.

All the led trailer lights are still working great. I get lots of compliments on the halo oval LED tailbrake lamps. The only Improvement I would like to see, I think the Halo stoptail, should have a brighter Stopturn, then they have. in the daytime, if you are running the tail lights, there is not a BIG visible difference. Other than that, I am very happy with the purchase.

by:

I really like these little marker LED lights. They are nice and bright and by rotating the housing you can somewhat adjust the beam pattern. I've used the yellow lights on the front apron of my F150 as marker lights and the red ones have been installed on the rear of my truck as running lights and also turn signals. I especially like that they are epoxy-sealed units and the wires have a rubberized sleeve for exterior use. I really wish that these lights would come in a dual intensity version so that they could be used as both running lights-turn signals or running lights-brake lights.
