2007 Isuzu N-Series

Installed on 2007 Isuzu NPR chassis with frame extensions for bumper brackets.
This hitch DOES fit. Actual hitch width is 33.75 inches so it fit perfectly between the bumper bracket extensions. Slid in Like buttah.
Hardware length allowed for avoiding a bolt head protruding from the frame and installing double shims from underside. Very helpful.
5.5 inch drop put receiver below the bumper. Thank you etrailer for pictured measurements.

The hitch is to short width wise - will not fit my truck

by:

Hitch fit good on a 74 Ford super camper special. There we two rivets on the frame for a crossmember that I ground down and drilled out because they were exactly where I wanted the front mounting hole on the hitch to be located. Other than that pretty good.

How do you bend a class 4 hitch...??

This makes my 4th Curt hitch purchased from etrailer. 5th overall and they have all performed flawless. I pull a trailer probably 5 out of every 7 days. Always have excellent customer service from etrailer and recommend them to anyone needing a hitch.

I purchased a used ambulance as a work vehicle for my company. Needed a hitch but not sure which one I would need because of the ambulance box. One phone call to etrailer with their friendly operator and a referral number to tech support and I had my answer. A couple of quick measurements and I had my hitch product number. Placed my order online on a Monday, hitch arrived on Wednesday. Drilled the required holes in my vehicle
and I was in business. Fantastic service! Between friends an family we have ordered at least 6 hitches and accessories over the last several years.

What are the measurements and demensions of this hitch? I understand that all of the Chevy GMC 1/2 and 3/4 ton pickup frames are the same between 1967 and 1972. My truck is a 1969 C/10 long bed with the coil spring suspension. Will this hitch bolt up onto my frame without having to modify either the frame or hitch?

Patrick B.

2/25/2014

You will most likely still need to drill holes for the bolts to pass through the frame and the hitch. So long as your truck has 34 inch frame spacing and a standard bumper, you will not need to modify the hitch. Check out the instruction link on the product page, it will show you what is required to install the hitch. You can compare that with your frame and get a pretty good idea of how it will all go together.

Shipping was very fast, customer service excellent, product looks excellent as far as welds...if it wasnt for the numerous scratches, scrapes, etc. would have given 5 stars.

by:

Hitch is beautiful, I give it 6 stars.
I
didn't expect to have to drill holes in the frame to attach it. (subtract 2, for extra work)

by:

Great product and good service.

by:
1987 Chevrolet C/K Series Pickup

It’s perfect, you can barely see it, very beefy

by:

Really nice and easy to install. It does it’s job

by:

Talk to the guy about the Curt hitch that went bad and he was very rude, arrogant, and didn’t have any interest in listening to my explanation of what went wrong with the prior hitch.

by:

Too easy! etrailer made the purchase and shipping so easy and the install was a breeze!

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch for 1985 Chevy C20 That Works With Rear Spare Tire
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C14082 is what I recommend for a 1985 Chevrolet C20 as it will allow you to retain your spare tire. This hitch also has a hidden cross tube design with durable powder coat. In regards to a rear bumper, we don't have any options for step-side models unfortunately.

  • Class IV Trailer Hitch that Fits 1971 Chevy C20 Truck with Standard Bumper
For your 1971 Chevy C20 with a standard bumper the Curt Class IV hitch part # C14082 is a confirmed fit and would work great. This fits the long bed and short bed trucks as well. It has a towing capacity of 10,000 lb trailer weight as well.

  • Trailer Hitch Receiver Fit on 1998 Chevy 3500 Cab & Chassis
A stake body should be referring to a cab and chassis, and we do have a trailer hitch receiver that fits a 1998 Chevy 3500 cab and chassis. You just need to make sure that your frame measures 34 inches outside to outside, and if it does then the correct hitch is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C14082. If your '98 Chevy has a frame which is not 34 inches wide, you can still add a hitch, but it would need to be a universal weld-on application. The correct one would depend on the exact...

We do have trailer hitches available for your 1984 Chevy K10, however the B&W Class V Trailer Hitch Receiver # BWHDRH25122 that you referenced is only a fit for the long bed model of your truck and will not fit your short bed K10. The highest rated hitch we have available for your Chevy K10 with the short bed and factory step bumper is the Curt Class IV # C14082. The hitch will work perfectly as long as your truck has a 34 inch frame width (from outside to outside). This custom hitch...

  • Receiver Hitch Recommendation for 1954 Ford F-250 Truck
Curt and Draw-Tite don't list any specific hitch fits for a vehicle that old, but luckily enough, cab/chassis trucks typically use a 34 inch wide frame and there are tons of those available. I'd recommend the Curt # C14082. This Class IV hitch has a 12K towing, 1K tongue weight capacity. To absolutely confirm the fit, before ordering you'll want to measure the height difference (also known as the drop) between the underside of the frame member and the underside of the rear bumper (if there...

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C14082 will allow you to keep the spare tire located under the rear of your 1978 Chevrolet K10. This receiver is confirmed to fit either the 6' or 8' long bed with the factory step bumper. I have included an image below showing this receiver on a similar GMC with the spare tire still in place. The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118311 will give you a 4-way flat connector. This is most common connection on small utility trailer. For larger trailers you...

  • Trailer Hitch for 1998 GMC C/K 3500 Cab/Chassis with Dual Rear Wheels
We've got you covered. The cab and chassis models did indeed have a 34 inch frame width. I'm not sure what kind of capacity you're needing, but because it's a dump truck on a 1 ton chassis, I'll give you a medium and a heavy duty option. For a heavy duty option with a 15000 lb towing capacity/1500 lb tongue weight capacity, I'd recommend the Curt Class V hitch, part # C15511. If you don't need quite that much grunt, Curt offers the Class IV # C14082 with a 10K towing/1000 lb tongue weight...

  • Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 1986 Chevy K10 Truck with 34 inch Frame
Since your truck has a 34 inch trailer frame that usually means it is a cab and chassis truck. Nonetheless, the Curt hitch part # C14082 has been confirmed to fit 1986 Chevy Trucks with 34 inch trailer frames so it would work well for you. This is a bolt-on hitch that would not require welding. Some drilling will be required though.

  • Trailer Hitch for a 1997 Ford F-250/F-350 Cab and Chassis Model
For 1997 a cab and chassis model would have an outside to outside frame width of 34 inches. If that is the case you can use # 13028 which is for the cab and chassis models. Cab and chassis hitches for the 1997 F-250 or F-350 appear in the same list as the regular pickup models so that is probably why you didn't see it. If the frame on your Spartan chassis matches up, the Curt # C14082 and B&W # BWHDRH25124 would work for you, but you'd need to drill new holes as the holes on the hitch and your frame wouldn't match up. You can verify that it will fit by measuring the distance of your drivers to passenger side frame rails. • 1966 Chevy C10 Short Bed Truck Trailer Hitch Fit
The available frame area for a hitch to install on a 1966 Chevy C10 is different between the short and long bed trucks which is why the hitches don't fit both. If you have bolt holes that are 38-5/8 inches from frame to frame, then the Curt # 14055 will work.
