Highest Rated Trailer Hitch for 1984 Chevy K10 Short Bed with Step Bumper

I have a 1984 Chevy K10 Short bed truck with a factory step bumper. Will the BWHDRH25122 work with this truck? I see it says it will work with the 8ft long bed.

We do have trailer hitches available for your 1984 Chevy K10, however the B&W Class V Trailer Hitch Receiver # BWHDRH25122 that you referenced is only a fit for the long bed model of your truck and will not fit your short bed K10.

The highest rated hitch we have available for your Chevy K10 with the short bed and factory step bumper is the Curt Class IV # C14082. The hitch will work perfectly as long as your truck has a 34 inch frame width (from outside to outside). This custom hitch features a towing weight capacity of 10,000 pounds, a tongue weight limit of 1,000 pounds, and will provide you with a 2 inch receiver opening.
