Hello I have a 1978 chevy k10. Looking for a trailer hitch that I would be able to use with the original spare tire setup under the bed. Thanks

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C14082 will allow you to keep the spare tire located under the rear of your 1978 Chevrolet K10. This receiver is confirmed to fit either the 6' or 8' long bed with the factory step bumper. I have included an image below showing this receiver on a similar GMC with the spare tire still in place.
The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118311 will give you a 4-way flat connector. This is most common connection on small utility trailer. For larger trailers you will most likely need a 7-Way Kit # ETBC7 with a Brake Controller # RED52VR with the 4-way above. This will allow you to tow a trailer with electric brakes.
