Chevrolet Cruze
Put this on my Chevy Cruze for a Bike rack.
Simple to install.(Relatively) It is a mechanical install requiring a basic skill set. But was hassle free and straight forward. The coil wire guides for the bolts saved a lot of headaches.

2019 Chevrolet Cruze
This is the second trailer hitch that I have purchased from etrailer.com. Not only was this install pretty easy, the customer service and the quality of the products that etrailer.com sells are both outstanding! I am not a mechanic but I do have tools and I installed this trailer hitch for my Chevy Cruze by myself. I purchased this hitch for the use of a bike rack and a cargo carrier for camping. I am very happy with the results and I can't wait to take my bike to the beach with some friends.

Hitch is built very well. Only one issue with 2017. One of the heat shield studs above muffler must be removed as there is no hole in hitch for it to come through. Could use better directions for heat shield trimming. 2017 does not have under body pannal to remove. Took under 30 minutes to install. Added hitch carrier basket. It is only 9 inches off ground. Think that will need 4 inch riser to keep it from dragging at gas station driveway.

2019 Chevrolet Cruze
Delivery was fast. I will finish reviewing product when I install the hitch. Jane and Howard are always satisfied with items we get from etrailer and the expert help we receive by Vedio or phone help!
I took the Chevy Cruze to Chevy dealer. They removed the heat shield off and installed the hitch. They said the heat shield are so thin it would be hard to cut it because it would rattle. I live in Vermont so in the spring I will put a thermometer in the trunk to over where the muffler is to see if it creates a high temperature in that area of the trunk. The hitch installed easily works great. I and Jane Johns have bought other items from etrailer starting with roof rack, other trailer hitches for Hyundia car Chevy impala hitch’s, bike racks, wiring package, everything has worked great. My thinking on the heat shield on the Chevy Cruze is to make it stiffer if it needs to be reinstalled that the reason I took the Cruze to Chevy dealership.

A real solid and well built trailer hitch for my 2018 Chevy Cruze. Installation was easy and it firms up the uni-body. It have no problem towing 2,000 lbs with it.

2017 Chevrolet Cruze
The trailer hitch is good and well built for the size of it. It was a little more work to mount it in the Chevy Cruise than I thought it would be. I had to remove some items and put them back on but there was no holes that had to be drilled. Now if the person that stole my bike rack that I got the hitch for would return it, that would help.

2016 Chevrolet Cruze
I recently ordered a trailer hitch and wiring harness from etrailer..What a fantastic company to do business with, My brother put the hitch on my brand new Chevy Cruz. There was a video to show him exactly how to do the whole process. He had a problem with the wiring harness because the batter is, wait for it, IN THE TRUNK!! This kind of confused him for a while. He called etrailer for help and was told that he would have to call the wiring harness company and gave him the number to call. He did call the the person that helped him was beyond wonderful.. I would recommend these companies anytime and am so grateful for the service. I am a 73 year old gramma that can once again pull my little trailer to go camping... Off we go!!

Second time using etrailer... both times worked great. Purchased hitch,wiring kit, ball hitch. And dust cover for my 2019 chevy cruze.. opened box and could not find the dust cover. Sent a email

2018 Chevrolet Cruze
Well made product. I had watched a couple of videos on installation on my car. It took me about 1 1/2 hours. I had decided I wasn't going to cut my heat shield down as much as the videos showed. The directions for cutting down the heat shield aren't very good. Deciding exactly where to cut was a big part of my 1 1/2 hours. You know the old measure twice and cut once. What I ended up with is probably more likely to rattle but also much more like Chevrolet intended. I jacked the driver side up to where the rear wheel almost came off the ground and installed it by myself using a small jack to lift it. I believe the car couldn't have been any lower and got the shield out. I am only intending to use it to haul a bicycle because the Cruze is not intended for pulling a trailer.

Bought a hitch for our 2018 Chevy Cruze to hold a bicycle rack. Received the hitch and install kit within a couple weeks. Install kit had everything needed. Nice hitch. No problems !

2019 Chevrolet Cruze
The trailer hitch is an excellent product. I found the instructions a little unclear. I called for technical help which proved to be helpful. However the muffler hanger proved to be quite a problem. There were two plastic clips behind the hanger that prevented the hanger from dropping down. Eventually I was able to locate the clips and release them and the hanger came free.

Excellent product. Easy to install. I wish there would have been a video on installing on a 2017 Cruze. It is different from earlier years. Did manage with the paper instructions.

Fit Perfect! Took a little longer to install then expected, about 1.5 hours start to finish. 2018 Cruze LT. the bolt for the heat sheild above the muffler just fit into the slot and didn't need cut off.
