Changing Ball Height and Replacing Balls
To adjust the height of the ball, remove the pin so that you are able to slide the ball platform up or down along the shank to the desired position. Re-insert the pin once you have found the correct height and replace the clip.
Switching the hitch ball is just as easy. Simply remove the pin holding the ball platform in place and slide the platform off of the shank. Flip the platform upside down so that the ball you want to use is on top. Then slide the ball platform back onto the shank and replace the pin.

Quality looks really good and it has the 2 size trailer hitch balls which makes it way more convenient.
VERY HAPPY, BUT STARTED TO SEE SOME RUST ON THE HITCH BALL AND ONLY USED TWO TIMES.
THE VERSABILITY OF THE PRODUCT IS GREAT. OTHER THAN THE SMALL AMOUNT OF RUST ON THE BALL ITSELF, IM VERY SATISFY AND WILL BUY FOR MY OTHER TRUCKS.

Thanks for your honest feedback. This product features chrome-plated steel balls and while they are the most economical, the chrome can wear off and allow rust to form. I like the look of this set very much and it is easy to mount and adjust the ball mount. The workmanship and finish are beautiful. Customer service was excellent in assuring I found the correct mount for my Ford Escape. I pull my 6'x10' utility trailer or very seldom my pontoon trailer. I like that the adjustable mount comes off very easily as I remove it until I need it while my vehicle is in the garage--it helps prevent knocking your leg against it in the garage. However, I am not having any luck loosening the bolt that secures the 2 chrome balls to the adjustable ball mount; I have the correct Allen wrench but cannot exert sufficient torque to loosen the bolt while the adjustable ball holder is off the ball mount. I want to put a different ball combination on so I can pull my son's trailer, which has a smaller ball than comes with the set, if I have to. I also added the anti-rattle device and it stops the mount completely.
So far so good with the aluminum. 4 stars because it's light weight; it'd have to be something really special for 5 stars (sorry - not everyone gets to be #1). I would buy it again.
Solid product that I look forward to using. It's appearance in the bright polished aluminum almost makes it too beautiful to use! The adjustable height settings will surely meet the requirement for any trailer that I'll ever haul. With a 39.25" upper wheel well from the ground measurement, the adjustable ball mount gives me a 16-to-21in measurement from the ground to the top of ball.
This was the best looking hitch very easy to use and i trust it for towing everything. etrailer has been great to work with. I have made several purchases with etrailer and highly recomend them.
My new hitch just survive it’s first hurricane, looks good on my GMC and I’m sure it’s going to pull my boat just fine! Service was 100 percent what they said! Bought from here before and will do again!
It doesn't happen very often, but this product is better than I imagined it would be. Wonderful fit and finish. These products are FIVE STARS PLUS!

Super nice tow hitch!!!
They shipped me a 4" drop version instead of the 6" drop I needed. They slapped an etrailer label indicating 6" drop on top of the manufacturer label, but the box contained a ball mount that only had 5 holes and 4" of drop. I now need to wait another week for the correct mount to arrive and it's cutting it very close to when I actually need to use it. And even then, will it be the correct mount? I don't quite trust their labeling/inventory management system now.

this is the easiest fastest to change of all the balls i've owned.
Wish i would have bought one for each vehicle.

Working flawlessly, after a year it is still 1
You can buy trailer accessories from most any place you choose; but from this point on, ETrailer is the only place I'll go. Adam E did a fantastic job. Straight to the point--I told him what I needed, and he got it for me! You can't put a price on the service and advice everyone here at ETrailer provides. I didn't realize what a difference a ball mount could make! I bought the Flash E-Series with the 2" and 2 5/16" balls. This weekend I hauled a Caterpillar 236B skid steer...all in all, I'd guess I was pushing just under 10,000lbs factoring in the trailer, buckets, etc. I'm so thankful I had the set up I did...(B and W 16,000lbs receiver hitch on an '85 Chevrolet K30) I'll never skimp on a ball mount or receiver hitch ever again! You felt nothing from the hitch. I'm sure there are less expensive mounts out there...but the piece of mind you get from knowing you have a solid, one-piece mount that won't fail on you makes it worth every penny.
Heavy, solid, functional, somewhat expensive; provides the height adjustment that I desired. It did not have enough reach to work well with my 2012 Subaru Forester with Curt hitch. So I had to purchase an extension. It is also a bit too heavy for the Subaru Forester. After one year of service the finish is still looking good.

Pros:
Very easy to switch from one ball size to another. I have two trailers with different balls and constantly changing the standard drawbars is a hassle, esecially when they are locked.
Nice polished finish....when new.
Cons:
Loose fit in the receiver which causes rattle and necessitates buying an anti- rattle kit. I have pulled trailers for 40 years and this has always been a problem. The tolerances are sloppy.
The hitch does not come with lockable pins for either hole,which makes it a target for thieves and the adjustment locking pin is not sold in most auto parts stores, it must be purchased here for $$.
Be careful when adjusting the height, once you pull the pin there is nothing stopping the ball assembly from dropping on your foot unless you are holding it firmly.

Super fast shipping. Great quality. I used to have to change receivers for different towing situations. This adjusts so it eliminates having to change.

Works great, highly recommend
The product was well made and the customer service was great. The problem was,
the video showed you were able to reverse the ball hitch and tuck in under the bumper when not being used. That is not the case, there is a raised rib on the back
not allowing it to slide up.

Fastway recently made a slight design change in their Flash E Series ball mounts that prevents the ball assembly from being reversed on the upright. It turns out that another company had a patent on that feature.
I am so excited to begin towing with my Flash E Series trailer hitch. It looks great and is easy to change levels for when I am switching between trailers. I originally ordered the wrong size trailer hitch (my error, not etrailers) but received quick help from Leeza J. at trailer when I discovered my error. I sent my first order back on Monday and received the replacement hitch on Friday. That was such a relief, as I needed the hitch to pull a large cargo trailer for my daughters wedding the following week. Thanks Leeza!
The build quality is great and has been completely silent. Would highly recommend this hitch. I use it in a riser position.
This is by far the most attractive drawbar & hitch that I've seen on any vehicle. It works great! I only wish the ball was durable enough to withstand the grinding from my rusty old trailer!
Purchased two flash e series hitches and two sets of locking pins. Product is perfect Service was outstanding beyond words. Very pleased with the adjustable ball mount. Excellent machine work. Only problem is that the 5/16 security hex L-key to tighten the dual ball assembly is not included in the kit. For the price of the kit, this should be included. I shouldn't have to go out and try to find one, or have to place another order from etrailer.com to purchase one.

Hitch Mount is working great. easy to adjust and keep our trailers level. We would purchase this again. But hope we dont have to. The quality is top notch.
