They really shouldn't advertise the "step" as it could only carry the weight of a skinny cat safely. But that is not what I bought them for
Perfect for my small utility trailer
I bought these for my Haulin Trailer, seeing that it had a step side design I thought that it would had been made of a sturdy plastic, NOT it's flimsy and if you stepped on in you would break it, so for the price though and to make you legal on your trailer, it's a good price.
I was looking for for a very solid fender for a smoker that my father and I built this summer and this was a great product. I ordered other items for my smoker and this web site is by far the greatest one I have found yet. I was very happy with the shipping and the prices for such great products. Thank you very much and hope to be doing alot more business with E Trailer again.
This is my homemade tear drop trailer with your fenders and
door hardware on them.
I ordered the fenders for an older boat trailer and requested the 2-day delivery. I was surprised when it actually was delivered 2 days later. On top of the timely shipping, the packaging was over the top. The box was well sealed, fenders were protected with packing paper and everything arrived in great shape. I would and I will suggest etrailer to everyone.
Adequate. 30 to 40% thicker plastic would have been nice. Trimmed steps off with a handsaw to better fit my application, which was the right wheel of a Harbor Freight 4'x8' folding trailer with 4.80x12 wheels.

Dan, I have just ordered the 4.80-12 tires to put on the same trailer you hav . I was looking at these fenders and saw your comment . How did you mount the fenders and why did you have to cut on one? Thanks in advance for any help you can give me before I order. Bill

Bill, to mount it I drilled holes on the inboard side of the fender that matched some existing bolts on the trailer, then removedreinstalled those bolts through the new holes in the fender.I cut the horizontal parts look like steps of the fender off to eliminate some interference. Also, theres no way the fender could support someone stepping on those areas either accidentally or on purpose, so I thought it best to remove the possibility.
The product was shipped fast and it was as described. I mounted my fender in about 10 minutes and headed down to the lake. Paid way less than at the marine store.

So far, fender is still holding up nicely, no issues whatsoever.

These fenders work great on my trailer to replace the old rotten steel fenders that were on the trailer. I had to replace one of the fenders that got ruined by a friend using my trailer and was very easy to get the same fender and just bolt the new fender right on.
Put these on a jet ski trailer. Didn’t make it one season and they broke.

We purchased Fulton fenders to replace the 15 year old fenders on our Shorelandr rebuild. Love the finish and high quality, thick plastic material. It was almost a perfect fit, but we had to make a cuts to make it perfect. Easy to install and highly recommend.
The fender functions basically as you'd expect from the picture. I used the CE26061G-2 mounting brackets and attached them at the predrilled bolt holes (though I had to drill a hole for the outermost hole in the bracket because they have different hole spacing).
The foot steps do NOT feel sturdy if you only mount the fender with two brackets. The outer footsteps bend down substantially and the top step bends outwards.
To remedy this, I reinforced the side steps by sandwiching the plastic with a fender washer (using the bolt / nut of the mounting bracket). This provides a fastener point on both sides of each side step and they feel sturdy now. The top step is better too - still bends more than I'd like, but it's fine.
I was very pleased with the quality of the single axle trailer fenders that I purchased through eTrailer. The site did a very good job in representing the actual product. I was also very impressed with the ordering and tracking system. At anytime during the short shipping period, I was able to follow the shipping progress on a map of the US. I will use eTrailer when needed, and will not hesitate in referring friends to the site.
Pretty darned good for the price! Well designed and molded with just the right amount of flexibility in the plastic; perfect for replacing fenders that have rusted off from age. It took some work to get them to mount on my old Snow Bear trailer, but they look great and will do the job just fine. So, why not Five stars? Let's face it, "Top and Side Steps" is really stretching it -- the "steps" look good and hide the mounting points quite well, but only a toddler could step on them without the plastic giving way. Which is fine, really.
The fender was an original equipment match. I wouldn't have been sure about the purchase but etrailers posted a video showing the product and dimensions. They also had the best price of any site I found. Thanks for taking the trepidation out of the purchase.

This fender replacement was an identical match to the original on my Sea-doo trailer and installed in less than 10 min.

I bought the fender but I screwed up and ordered the wrong one .etrailer took the wrong one back and sent me the right one .no questions asked the staff are helpful and pleasant to deal with the new fender fit perfectly and the best price I was able to find.
