Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a brief look at this rubber ribbed wide seal for RV and trailer doors. With this rubber seal, you are going to be able to replace your old and worn out weather stripping around the doors and hatches of your RV or trailer before water damage creates a costly headache for you. Now, this is a peel and stick installation with a pre-applied 3M adhesive backing. So, you're just gonna simply remove the backing and apply the seal to your frame.
Surface preparation is recommended to remove any old adhesive. And then you're just gonna use scissors to trim the extra seal. Some alcohol prep pads are included with this seal to help you in that preparation before you stick this down onto your metal, or before you stick this on to your frame. Now, if you notice here, this does feature this skirting here around the recessed adhesive. And that skirting is going to protect your connection from the elements.
And this is made in the USA of EPDM dense rubber that won't shrink, or crack, or fade over time. It does feel very durable and of good quality. It is resistance to UV damage as well. And what I have here is 15 feet long. And let me pull out my ruler here and just go over some other measurements that will prove helpful to you.
The width is 9/16 of an inch. And the height, we are sitting right at 5/16 of an inch. And again, this is 15 feet that I have here before me. But if you're needing more length, we do offer this in 30 feet as well. And on your screen, I am including our item number to the 30 foot long option.
