Video Transcript for Review of Steele Rubber Trailer Door Parts - Rubber Ribbed Hollow Bulb Seal - SR76ZR

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a brief look at this rubber ribbed hollow bulb seal for RV and trailer doors. With this rubber seal, you're gonna be able to replace your old, worn out weather stripping around your doors and hatches of your RV before water damage creates a costly headache. Now, this is a peel and stick installation with the pre-applied 3M adhesive backing. It's gonna be real simple to install.

You just simply remove the backing and apply the seal to your frame. Surface preparation is recommended to remove any old adhesive. And then you'll just use scissors to trim the extra seal that you don't need. This is made in the USA of EPDM dense rubber, so this is very high quality rubber. So, it's not gonna shrink, it's not gonna crack or fade over time, and it is resistant to UV damage.

Now, what I have here is 30 feet long. Let me just pull out my ruler here real quick and give you some measurements here of the width. We're sitting right at 7/8 of an inch wide. And then looking at the height, we are sitting right at an inch tall. And as I mentioned, this is 30 feet.

But if this is too much for you and you're looking for a smaller length, we do also have this available in a 10 foot option. And I am including our item number for that 10 foot option on your screen. Just pop in that item number on the search field of our website and that will take you to the product. Well, that's gonna conclude our brief look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you.

Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me..

  • Recommended Bulb Seal For An RV Ramp Door
The Rubber Ribbed Hollow Bulb Seal for RV and Trailer Doors # SR76ZR is designed exactly for this purpose so you'll be good to go with it. When you install the sides you'll want to cut a small portion of the bulb away while still leaving the base of it and then cut a small slit in the top seal and push the base of the side seals into it so that the top overlaps the sides.

  • Recommended Bulb Seal For An RV Ramp Door With A 1/4" Gap
I went out to the warehouse and compressed both the # SR26ZR and the # SR76ZR and found that the # SR26ZR is approximately 3/8" thick when fully compressed and that the # SR76ZR compresses down to just a hair past 1/4". The base of the # SR26ZR is a lot thicker than it looks in the pictures so the # SR76ZR is going to be your best bet to properly seal the opening without being too thick to where you'd have to struggle to close the door.

  • How Do I Pick Out The Correct Seal For My Slide-Out?
We do have a bunch of seals available for you, however to find out exactly what you need for your RV, you'll need to cut a section off of your existing seal, and measure the width and height, well as measure the entire area you need to replace. From here, you'll just need to choose the type of of seal you're replacing (bulb, press-in, stick on, wiper) and you'll be good to go. I have attached a link to all of our seals for you to check out, however if you're having issues finding what...
