Today we're taking a look at the JR Products hook and keeper for enclosed trailer.Now, there are a lot of options out there, but this one is going to have a zinc-plated design. So it's going to be a zinc-plated steel with a 45-degree hook on this. So it's going to be a little bit off to allow for maybe some other things that are mounted on your trailer, maybe an awning or something like that. So this can go around it and still keep that door open so you can get things loaded in and out without any issues of that door coming back and swinging closed on you.
So our construction's going to be nice and durable. We shouldn't have to worry about any rust or corrosion with this since it has that zinc plating.Same thing for our hardware, it's going to be zinc-plated steel screws. And as far as the size for each side of our system, it's about three inches long, maybe a little bit longer than that by really less than a 16th, or maybe just at a 16th. So about three inches roughly, and then about one and three quarters roughly the other side, and stands about three quarters of an inch tall, maybe a little bit less, more like five eighths of an inch tall. So it shouldn't take up too much space on your trailer that way.
Same footprint for our other side, about three by one and three quarter, and then height or depth wise, it's about three eighths of an inch tall. The arm coming off of here total is about four inches long, maybe about three and a half, if we go to the center of that hook. But again, it does have that 45 degree angle to offset it so it can allow for those other things that might be in the way normally.This is covered by a lifetime warranty from JR Products.
