Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at this six-foot long by four inch wide continuous hinge. This hinge is gonna provide a sturdy, continuous support for your door or tailgate under utility trailer. It does have 270 degrees of rotation for full opening and closing motion. And that six foot length is going to offer more support than smaller individual hinges and it's goNNA help reduce the stress on your heavier doors. This can be welded on or bolted on.
As you see the side plates here are solid materials, so you can drill the holes wherever you need them to be. If you're wanting to bolt this in place, does have an aluminum construction. So it is going to be very lightweight and rustproof. Each side is going to measure two inches. Can show you that here with a little ruler.
So if I hold that up, you can see up to the hinge there, right about two inches forget the right angle from my camera. The knuckles themselves are also right at two inches in length. So you can see the pin diameter inside there is gonna be 3/8 of an inch or about 9 1/2 millimeters. And this is made here in the USA, so you can trust, it's made to the high quality standards that we've come to know and trust for products that are made here in the US. So if you are looking for a four inch wide by six foot long continuous hinge for your trailer, this is going to be a great option for you.

I didn't use it on a trailer, but the use of it is the best choice for the situation.
The hinge appears solidly made. I welded it onto my project yesterday, there is zero flex. Happy with it so far.

Very impressed with the quality this hinge. I had to repair my FlipBak tonneau cover. This hinge will provide superior security over the original piece of rubber that those tonneau covers use as a hinge.

3 stars, due to packaging. Ordered 3 inch by 72 inch piano hinge. Packaging tube arrived without hinge, cap on end was missing.Went to post office to see if they seen it and they did. Brought it home and is in working condition.

used cobalt drill bit drilled 4 holes in hinge on corners with paper to keep door space for future paint ,drilled holes in hinge only just touch wood ,undid 4 screws ,recessed wood with bur thing ,punched stainless hinge into wood, screwed in screws near flush ,very clean super price and strong ,thank you
Very well constructed as we needed a heavy duty weld on hinge and this was the only hinge in the market to meet our application.

I plan to hinge my shop stairs,pictured in the attached photo.
I tried ordering this same hinge through a hardware supplier and they couldn't get it. I found this on a web search and couldn't believe E-trailer had it in stock, it came within two days. Happy to get this project done!
