Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this 72 inch long, three inch wide stainless steel piano hinge. Now, this hinge will provide a nice sturdy, continuous support along the length of your cabinet, door, or panel. It's great for oversized doors, trailer doors, and entrance doors. And it'll provide more support than multiple small hinges.
This is a nice continuous design that'll reduce the stress on the hinge with heavier doors. And this does rotate 270 degrees. Let me just zoom in so you can see that. You can see the hinge, it'll go 270 degrees for nice full opening and closing motion. This is made of a durable stainless steel construction that'll resist corrosion.
And this has a 2B mill finish, which gives the metal a bright shine. And when they say 2B mill, what they're saying is it's a standard finish that has a smooth, bright and moderately reflective, and may even exhibit a slight luster to it. It is a weld-on or bolt-on installation. Now, to bolt it on, it will require drilling holes into the hinge. This part is made in the USA.
Last thing I wanna do is give you some dimensions on this. We're gonna zoom back out to give you the length. And the length, we'll measure all the way from one end to the other end, it's right at 72 inches. The width on it, which will be the open width. Let's just zoom in for that one.
So, if I have this open all the way, the opened width, you can see it's gonna be right at three inches. The knuckle length, each one of these little sections is considered a knuckle. So, the knuckle length on this is gonna be right at one inch. And then the pin that goes through that piano hinge is a quarter inch diameter. This was a last minute project that was dropped on me and I was scrambling to to find the components. etrailer was easy to scroll through and easy to complete my purchase.
It was shipped in a timely manner safe and I damaged. I used it to replace a toolbox lid hinge. It was a little overkill on size but it has worked so far. Thank you for supplying me with a great product.
The hinge is holding up great. Used the trailer several times this winter for sleds, now using the trailer for out side by side. Great product.

Stainless piano hinge isn’t stainless and has almost rusted shut . Would not send a replacement unless I removed and returned the original which had been cut , drilled, and installed
Wish it came with holes in it. Otherwise looks to be heavy duty. Needed end caps on the tube it came in. Ends were blown out but hinge was there and does not appear to be damaged.
Easy to deal with, painless transaction, rapid delivery. Will definitely order again in the future.

Wow, shipping was no problem, it shipped in a solid tube and this was the 72” so it’s a long tube. Very heavy gage hinge. Super impressed to get this size in this heavy of a material for this price.
