Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Buyers Products vehicle document holder. This document holder is constructed from sturdy corrosion resistant stainless steel. Provides a secure and dry place for documents and other paperwork. So this'd be great for tractor-trailer applications, utility trailers, cargo trailers. It has a lot of different applications that it can be used for.The document holder has rubber end caps on both ends to provide a nice tight seal. So if you take one off you can see there the opening.
This one can be removed as well. You just have to work it off a little bit, since we've already removed one; kinda creates a suction.I do want to mention that the end caps are held on to the bracket with the tether right there. So that we don't misplace them or lose them. The tube opening measures around one and three eighths inches. Tube length, did take a measurement of that, edge to edge is about nine inches long.It's a really nice design again durable stainless steel construction.
The bracket has the mount holes pre-drilled in it. Mounting hardware not included. And the base, or the back side of the unit measures two and three quarter inches by five and one quarter inches. And it sticks out from the installation surface about four and one eighth inches.That's gonna do it for today's look at the Buyers Products vehicle document holder.

Great small tube for the trailer papers, always put in a plastic zip lock baggy!
The rubber end caps are sun rotted after only one year in service. The stainless wire, attached to the end caps is now worthless.
Well the Document Holder is well made for the most part but there is a but. The video demonstrating this on etrailer.com gave the impression that the end caps were very tight and you had to work to get them off, which one would assume is a good thing for weather resistance.
On my example one end cap was snug but not tight and the other would most likely fall of if shaken hard. I am fairly sure the end cap that was so loose would most likely vibrate off while towing the trailer. I built up the diameter of the tube on both ends with electrical tape, one layer on the tightest cap and two layers on the other one, and that seems like it will work OK.
Definitely a good product. Easy too installed and keeps my documents dry. I would buy it again.
Product is great! Has worked well on our fleet trailers. Has cut down on the amount of paperwork that was being carried in the truck.
This document holder works great. We use them to keep the registration and insurance papers with each of our trailers.
It appears that they will serve our needs just fine. Will be mounting soon.
