Today we're going to take a look at the Pack'Em Ladder Racks for the side rail of open air trailers. This is a convenient rack that will let you haul one ladder on the side rail of your open air trailer. It can also be used to transport any pipe, conduit, or similarly sized gear on your trailer. The towers right here, these are pre-drilled. This is what will install easily on the side rails of your open air trailer. The mounting hardware for the open air trailers may need to be purchased separately to install these. The brackets right there, these ladder rack brackets, they're designed as adjustable brackets that could be installed at varying heights on the towers.
They can be staggered for level installation of any oddly shaped ladders. You can also purchase additional brackets like these, we sell them separately, part number PK-28WL and if you want to carry a second ladder. What's nice on the ladder racks themselves, if you look right here, they have a nice welded gusset on the underneath to help support the ladder rack. It also gives a nice anchor point for a lock and a chain to secure your ladder or your items to your trailer. They are made of a sturdy steel construction, have a nice grey powder coat finish to help resist any rust. They do have a unique hammered pattern to the finish, it adds a nice touch to your trailer. This part includes everything shown here on the table.
The two brackets, the two towers, the four bungee cords, and all the installation hardware. The application, this is for ladders up to 6 1/4" wide. The tower height themselves is 46 1/2" tall, 2" wide, by about 1" deep. The weight capacity on these is 75 pounds and the other nice thing, if you look on these ladder rack brackets, you'll see holes on each corner here. Once these are installed, you can use those holes to use these included bungee cords to attach your ladder or your items down to your trailer.

I am a general handyman. A jack of many trades. I have worked out of the back of my truck for years. I had been looking for a trailer to house a rolling workshop. I found this 6 x 12 trailer at etrailer's in Leeds, AL The price was right. I was able to convert the inside to organize my tools and portable work table. The trailer is easy to move around, even when fully loaded. One of best things I like about this trailer is the head room. I am 5' 4" and can easily move around in it even with the light fixture I added.
I only wish the interior plywood were 1/2" or better. As it stands, the 3/8" plywood is adequate for my purpose. Aside from that, I like the trailer very much.
They work great. we put the tool extension on the top of these to hold a pole saw and it keeps everything safe and out of the way.
So glad I bought these for my trailer! No more carrying ladders or pipe inside of the trailer!
I can always find what I need to modify my trailer at etrailer. I really like the super fast free shipping (amazon can't come close to that). The ladder rack was exactly what I needed and was an easy install. It is well made out of heavy gage metal.
