Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Super Track kit from Buyers Products. Now, the Super Track kit provides versatile tie down points for securing cargo in your enclosed trailer, your van, pickup bed, utility trailer, your boat. Very versatile, can be applied to a lot of different applications. Now with this kit, you'll get four anodized, extruded aluminum tracks and eight tie downs total. The aluminum is strong and durable and does a great job at resisting rust and corrosion. It does feature a pretty nice low profile design so it doesn't stick out too far from whatever surface you have it installed on.The rings can be adjusted every inch along the track.
So that way you can position them exactly where you need them to accommodate the items that you're wanting to secure. To reposition the ring, all you have to do is pull up right here in this base portion and I like to push down right here. It makes it easier for me to slide it. And then you can slide it along the track. You can also completely remove it and then just place it wherever you need it, fit it back in, slide it until it fully engages and it's held in place securely.
So it's really easy to move around. You can customize however you have it set up or however you need it set up. So it's going to come to you with four pieces of track and two tie downs per track. But again, you can put more than two tie downs on a track. And you can space them out.
You can put them close together. A lot of versatility. That's what this is built around.It's a very versatile system and gives you a lot of options. Now, the rings are designed to swivel 360 degrees to ensure that your tie down straps always remain flat, that they don't get twisted. And then also, they can lay down when they're not being used.
The rings themselves are made from carbon steel and they feature a zinc coating to resist rust and corrosion. All the necessary mounting hardware is included. So you get two mounting hardware kits. You'll notice on the bottom portion there, we have multiple mount holes along the tracking.Now each track, I took a measurement from very edge to very edge and I got a measurement of 47 and 1/4 inches. The width, that's outer edge to outer edge, side to side is an inch and 1/4. And then the overall thickness, that's how far it sticks out from the installation surface, 7/16 of an inch. Each track has a safe working load limit of 400 pounds. The inner diameter, or the usable space here in each tie down is 1 and 1/8 inches. And then the thickness of the ring itself is 3/16 of an inch.Last thing I want to mention for you is just the mount hole separation. So it is recommended that you use all the mount holes, all the ones that you can. On the ends here, these holes are closer together than any of the other holes. So the two holes on the edge or on the end of each track are separated on center by 5 inches and then the rest of the holes are separated on center by six inches.And that's going to do it for today's look at the Super Track kit from Buyers Products.

Poor quality aluminum track. The tiedowns are a very snug fit and difficult to use. If I need more in the future, I certainly will not buy them again. I’ve seen other reviews on the site regarding the same issue but I bought them anyways thinking that might’ve been individuals bad experience, but they are correct. The tiedowns are very difficult to take in and out of the track.

I've ordered these track kits 3 or 4 times for several trailers. I really find them convenient. I just wish I could order only extra tracks because I have all the tie downs I could ever need and the fasteners that come standard (nice SS nuts and bolts) don't work when screwing down to a plywood deck.

This product is not an L track substitute. The sizing is not compatible with L-Track accessories. Other than that it is a fine product but I will not use it because it won't work with the L track double studs that I am using for my project. I verified the measurements with a set of digital calipers and confirmed that the measurements of my double studs meet spec and that this is fractions of an inch away from spec for L-Track. I also purchased more L-Track and the accessories work perfectly in those new tracks.

Channel is too tight. Supplied tie down rings are difficult to place and other, larger style anchors don't really fit. Channel and openings should be larger.

The tracks work exactly as I had hoped and make it very easy to strap down the cargo I carry. I ordered extra tie rings and couldn’t be more pleased with the versatility of the system.

Product is exactly as described. Should work very nicely. but it would have been nice if yu included a couple extra bolts washers and nuts . I kept dropping them.
