These tie-down straps let you secure gear to your truck bed, trailer, or cargo carrier. Cam buckles hold the straps tight over your load. And vinyl-coated S-hooks help prevent scuffs and scratches on your cargo. 900 lbs Max load.

Features:

  • Tie-down straps let you secure cargo in your truck bed or trailer or on your cargo carrier or roof rack
  • Cam-lock buckles hold straps tight over your gear
  • Vinyl-coated S-hooks help prevent scratches on your cargo

Specs:

  • Strap dimensions: 1" wide x 5-1/2' long
  • Safe working load limit (WLL): 300 lbs
  • Maximum load (break strength): 900 lbs
  • Quantity: 4 cam buckle straps

Note: Tie-down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 1,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.

We bought the Swagman 4 Bike Carrier RV Mounted Bike Rack and the cam buckle tie down straps. We've used both and are very satisfied with the quality. We normally don't write reviews but were extremely happy with the service we received from etrailer.com. They really made an extra effort to make sure our shipment arrived to us before we went out of town and their customer service is excellent. Thanks for a great experience.

We purchased this bike rack to carry my adult 3-wheel trike as I had been having difficulty finding a carrier to fit it. This one works great! We have a spare tire carrier mounted in the middle of the bumper and these racks fit on either side of the spare tire. I was told the rack would arrive on 1/19 or 1/20, and it was there as promised on 1/20. Very satisfied with the service and the product.

One year review:

All have held
up perfectly. Have used for a multitude of tasks from tying coolers down in the toy hauler, to tying coolers down on the RZR. Perfect little light/medium duty straps that have lasted.

A year later and they’re still in great shape. They get beat pretty hard holding 2 coolers down in the bed of my RZR. All the mud, rain, snow, washes and they still slide smooth and grip well.

Ordering from etrailer was a great experience. My items arrived very quickly and in excellent condition. I will definitely be back for future trailer related purchases.

by:

Good quality and price for a set of cam straps. The red ones costs a dollar or two more than the black set. However, they're easier to see in the mirror. Safety first!

by:

Just what the doctor ordered- they arrived in 2-days, could not believe how quick they shipped.

Will use etrailer again and will also recommend them to my friends.

by:

They are serviceable and do the job.

Good products, fair prices, and excellent customer service from Teresa!

  • Will the Swagman # S80600 Hold an Adult Tricycle on a 2017 Coachmen 21 ft Freedom Express
The Swagman 4 Bike Carrier RV Mounted Bike Rack # S80600 that you referenced will be able to accommodate your Tricycle with the 28 inch wheel span. My contact at Swagman verified this. Since this is a bolt-on installation I also recommend using the Cable Lock # e98891 to add some security to your setup. You can use the Erickson Cam Buckle Tie-Down Straps # 05605 to help secure your Tricycle to your bike rack. To verify if it is compatible with your 2017 Coachmen 21 ft Freedom Express...

  • How to Transport Two 113-Lb Predator Kayaks on 2014 Hyundai Tucson
Your extremely nice pedal-powered Predator fishing kayaks (can you smell my envy?) are much too heavy at 113-lbs each for any sort of roof rack option on your 2014 Hyundai Tucson. Their 11-foot length also makes a trailer option such as the Yakima Rack and Roll Trailer # Y08107 or # Y08106 your best bet. Both trailers come complete with either 78-inch or 66-inch-long round crossbars to which you can secure the kayaks. The bar spacing and open trailer frame allow space for the kayak's propeller...

When used on a UTV to carry game, I recommend the Viking Solutions Tilt-N-Go II Hauler and Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 300 lbs # 310-VTG002. This carrier allows you the option of moving the game to your UTV. If you just want a basic folding carrier, then I recommend the 19x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - Folding - 500 lbs # C18109. With either option, you may want the Erickson Cam Buckle Tie-Down Straps w/ S-Hooks - 1" x 5-1/2' - 300 lbs - Qty 4 # 05605 to...

  • Transporting 13.5-foot Kayak in High Winds Using Sportrack J-Stacker Kayak Carrier
I spoke to my contact at Thule for any information to address your concern about the stability of your 13.5-foot kayak in the J-style carrier when driven in high winds. Although Thule does not specifically apply wind ratings to their kayak carriers, it was suggested that the J-style that you are using would likely be a best option. After discussing your safety concerns with one of their technical staff we agreed that the simplest solution is the addition of supplementary tie-down straps....

If your camper has a 4 to 4-1/2 inch square tube steel (not aluminum) bumper that's continuously welded, and not spot-welded, the Swagman RV and Motorhome Bike Rack you mentioned, part # S80600 would work very well for you. If you click the provided link, you can see an product demonstration video that features the Swagman # S80600 rack. A cable lock like part # e98891 and Cam Buckle Tie-Downs like part # 05605 are also recommended.

  • Will Thule Hitch Bike Rack, # TH9056, Work On A Travel Trailer
The manufacturer (Thule) does not recommend that any Thule hitch bike rack be used on a trailer or any other towed vehicle. So you will not want to use the Thule Hitch Bike Rack, # TH956, on your travel trailer. I do have a Swagman Original 4 Bike Rack, # S64400, that can be used on the back of a travel trailer. It will fit 1-1/4 inch and 2 inch trailer hitches. You will want to check the tongue weight capacity of the hitch on your trailer, so you will not exceed the specifications for...

The Swagman Motorhome Bumper 2-Bike Carrier, part # S80605, is intended for use on 4- to 4-1/2-inch continuous-weld steel RV bumpers (not aluminum or spot-welded bumpers) and can carry two conventional bikes of similar length. Great news! The length of the vertical post on the Swagman RV Bumper Rack # S80600 is 18.5 inches. So you will have plenty of clearance between the post and your fold-out bed on your Rockwood Roo Hybrid. For securing the bikes to the rack we recommend ratchet straps like # 05605 and a locking cable like # e98891. I have linked the Swagman RV bumper rack to this page for your purchasing convenience.

  • Will the Swagman 4 Bike Carrier RV Mounted Bike Rack # S80600 fit with a Spare Tire
A couple of other customers have said that they had to move their spare tire so that they could install the Swagman 4 Bike Carrier RV Mounted Bike Rack # S80600. So I would say yes it would work but you might have to make some adjustments to the spare. The tie-down method is up to the end user. We recommend something like ratchet straps or cam-buckle straps that will not give or flex like a bungee cord would. Part # 05605 is a 4 pack of cam-buckle straps that we recommend for this rack.

  • Recommendation For RV Rated Bike Racks For 6 Bikes On 2016 Palomino Solaire 267bhse
For a bike rack on your 2016 Palomino Solaire 267BHSE, I recommend the Swagman 4 Bike Carrier RV Mounted Bike Rack # S80600. I recommend using tie-downs like # 05605 to secure your bikes in place and # e98891 cable lock to deter theft. There is not a 6 bike RV carrier available, so I recommend using a second rack and putting it in a separate location. I recommend using the Erickson Cam Buckle Tie-Down Straps w/ S-Hooks - 1" x 5-1/2' - 300 lbs - Qty 4 # 05605 to have a few simple straps that you can use to secure it to the top rail of the...

The other method you described where you said you wanted to hang the bikes could possibly work but most likely if you were to hit bumps in the road your bike might bounce and become unattached and fall. • Is Swagman Bumper Mount Bike Rack Safe to Use
As long as the bumper is 4 to 4-1/2 inches, made of steel, is square, and has a continuous weld the length of the bumper then there is nothing to worry about, especially since you got the go ahead from the dealer. To relieve some stress on the bumper you can attach a strap somewhere on the bike rack and tie it off to the back of the trailer. This will help take stress off the bumper and add a little peace of mind. You could use straps like # 05605 or stabilization strap # 18050.

For this type of bike a better option may be a bumper-mount rack or a hitch-mount rack.
