Hello neighbors, I'm Steven with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at this Thule Top Tracks for your roof rack system. Now these are 60" long. You pretty much would maybe use these for like a multi-sport function, maybe on top of your camper shell, possibly a hard tonneau cover if it's one of 'em, like flip up ones, something to that extent. And that would then give you an option to mount then a set of feet and roof rack load bars. Those are sold separately, the load bars and fit kit, you can check out our webpage, etrailer.com.
Find the right ones for your specific installation. Now the nice innovative fasting hardware pretty much eliminates the headliner removal. There are some cases where you may have to remove a headliner, but it's pretty rare. Just follow the instructions included, and you get two 60" long tracks. There's kind of a closeup of what they look like.
We got holes in here for mounting. It's got a nice slot in here for you to slide the feet back and forth to any width that you want to set it up for. They're pretty durable. They got a little flex but not too much. They're nice aluminum construction and they are coated so they're not gonna rust, corrode, that kind of stuff.
Now these are 1-5/8" and again, 60" long. Now as far as the end, see if I can get it there without it messing up. All right, so that's the end. You take one of these end caps, they're hard plastic. Once you get these installed, you'd simply put in that end cap.
Keep in mind it's not gonna stay there right now 'cause it requires a bolt to go through there. But when you're all done, it'll give you a nice flush, clean looking install. Now again, you do require some drilling to install these and they've included both drill bits. There's like a pilot one and then to get the final size and then you've got all your hardware, stainless steel, silicone to put through the hole, rubber gasket washers, lock nuts, rubber tubes to cover the end of the screws, and then the plastic cap to cover the cap itself. So all that's gonna give you a really nice clean look. I'm pretty impressed with the kit. Again, if you want to add a roof rack to maybe the top of your camper shell or a hard tonneau cover, this is a really good option. And again, it does work with the Thule Podium SquareBars and Podium Arrow Bars and feet that are sold separately. Well folks, that's gonna do it for our look today at these 60" long Thule Top Tracks. Received the order, but pieces were missing. I contacted Customer Service and talked to Quin......He was very helpful and rushed the missing parts to me.......Thanks for the excellent Customer Service.
The web site was very easy to follow and had plenty of visuals so i could understand the product. Help with two questions was very prompt and clear, which enabled me to do a worry-free installation. I did not want a clamp-on type of mount for my bare roof, wanting a track and sliding set-up. All other sites had the caveat to not use this on a metal roof [understanding the concern about having to use correct hardware]. I opted to use rivnuts which i bought myself.
I went through a number of sites before I realized that they were warning me off without knowing my objective. Having a 2014 Scion xB also spooked them into not getting past step one with me. You guys listened me through. I received the package and installed it in very good time.

The item was billed the same day as the order was placed with etrailer but after 2 weeks with no receipt, I was told the shipment was lost by USPS. I had to call and complain 5 times (on hold about 30 minutes each time) before a replacement shipment was made. The people in customer service seemed to be helpful but the whole thing was a PAIN.
You had something no one else had. Service was excellent.
I didn’t look closely enough at the hardware for this product and thought it was the kit that came with rivnuts. Do you all sell that kit? If so, can I swap hardware? If not, do you sell rivnuts separately?

The hardware for thule tracks part # THTB60 does not include rivnuts or rivet mounts. Rhino Rack makes 50 inch tracks that are rivet mounted. Rhino-Rack RT-Style Roof Rack tracks part # RRRTV128 attach with included stainless steel pop rivets.

Still working just fine. Like a good chinese copy usually does.
These tracks were easy to install on my Leer cap with two people. The Tracker ii system works perfectly and I am able to haul all of my surfboards, Thule box and roof top tent thanks to the tracks.
I had previously ordered this item from a large mail order company and received it late and with all the hardware for assembly missing. Etrailer answered all my questions and got me the product on time , well packaged and with all the hardware for assembly. I did install it according to Thule's instructions but, I added another larger stainless steel washer inside the Leer cap to all the bolts holding the track down. I felt this spread out the stress on the holes more and provided more holding power on the cap.
I had some Thule roof rack components leftover from the sale of another vehicle. Drew at etrailer.com spent quite a bit of time with me on the phone verifying that what I had was compatible with these rails. Very happy with the purchase.
These have worked out really well with a rooftop tent mounted to our fiberglass cap.
Just cut to length with a chop saw if needed.
I have Thule 60" on 6' truck topper, works great. This purchase was for a 8' topper - wish they made 72".
Galvanized hubs work great in Michigan winter salt.
Great tracks for mounting on pickup toppers. I just bought my second set for a new truck/topper.

The rails were installed about 6 weeks ago. They seem like they are going to do the job that I need them for, carrying a canoe. The directions arent the best and there werent enough bolts.
