Note: Tie-down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 1,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.
CargoBuckle's third-generation tie-down straps bolt to your trailer and simplify the securing and unloading of your cargo. They have a self-retracting design, so there is constant tension on the strap and minimal ratcheting is required to secure your load. Dual safety locks keep the ratchet arm in the open or closed position, so the ratchet will not accidentally loosen or tighten up.
Instead of always having to find and store tie-down straps that hook to the anchor points on your trailer, you'll always find CargoBuckle straps right where you need them. Just pull up on the hook and strap, attach the hook to your cargo, and then operate the ratchet a few times. No more searching for a tie-down strap or dealing with extra webbing that flaps in the wind. And when you're ready to unload, simply push the release lever on the ratchet, free the hook from your cargo, and let the strap retract back down into the ratchet housing.
Using the included hardware, you can permanently mount the 1" wide ratchet straps to any flat surface. Or you can incorporate various adapters (sold separately) to use the tie-downs as either standard straps with S-hooks or as E-track straps. Angled brackets (sold separately) let you mount the straps at a 45-degree angle so that they are easier to access.

Added these bolt on retractabel ratchet straps to my Rola Railed Cargo Carrier for a quick and easy way to strap down any cargo I place on the carrier. The special light kit is shown in these pics as well and reviewed on that product page.
This installation is intended for the safe and easy hauling of my paramotor and works like a custom designed unit. While my paramotor is only around 60 lbs, these straps are rated up to 466 pounds and the carrier is rated for a bit more than 600 pound. So they will likely secure any load I want to haul with this setup.
The included nuts and bolts are robustly sized and make installation a breeze.
The ratchet straps are very easy to use and stow well when not in use.
Overall, I'm very happy with these straps and with the quick delivery and service I received from etrailer.
I use these to hold my power chair on the lift & am very happy with them. The price is good compared to the lift company's price
& were easy to install. I would & have recommended these to my friends. The staff I worked with through out this process has been great.

Just what I needed to know
The cargo bucket retractable straps were easy to install. In just a few minutes I can safely secure my scooter to the lift with one hand. No more adjusting both ends of cargo straps!

After one year the CargoBuckle Mini G3 Retractable straps are working Perfect. A Quality product, I would definitely purchase again.

So easy to use. Fortunately, there were holes where mine needed to be mounted making it easy to install. They were used to hold down a 50lb. Kayak on a small utility trailer. Worked flawlessly on our 3500 mi. trip. Highly recommended.

The straps are on a trailer that is used once or twice a year for a few weeks. The convenience of the permanently mounted straps cannot be overstated. I love these straps.

Excellent product. Works exactly what I need if for. If there was an even smaller version that would be even better for what I use it for. But over all great product, no mess and the shipping was faster than expected(always a plus!)

Fantastic, dont know how I survived without them. Feel so safe they are holding my equipment down tight,
Great product. I have 4 of them bolted to each of the 3 lifts in my motorcycle shop. Then can easily be attach using one hand. Great for stability and safety. I would recommend them highly.
I need them for a wheel chair lift they work great for that they are just like what was on it
My husband has an electric lift that is on my van for his power chair. Over the years we have bought tons of bungee cords to secure the chair. We have lost or broken as many. We purchased these stationary tie down straps and love them. They are always there and work perfectly. In fact, bought another set to go on his vehicle.

I just had to replace the tie down straps. We were very pleased with them and replaced them with the same ones. Wish they lasted longer then a year but are used constantly. Still very pleased.
My problem is unique--I use the tie downs to hold my husband's power chair in place on the carrier on the back of my Dodge Journey. We live in Utah and many of the places I go have driveways with dips into the street for irrigation the carrier sometimes hits bottom even with the wheels we have installed. When that happens sometimes the tie down get damaged. We have tried different places to attach them so they won't get damaged. My son has attached the new ones in a higher place to try & help. We have had to buy 3 sets already in less than 2 years. My only complaint is the expense---these last ones we bought have gone up For retired senior citizens on a limited budget this is hard. The product works great but the expense is difficult for us.

Thank you for your review. If your cargo carrier is scraping the ground you would recommend a MT70066. This part allows you to put your cargo carrier in the upper receiver of the ball mount allowing for more clearance underneath the carrier. Please keep in mind this ball mount only allows for a 500 tongue weight rating so you should not exceed 500 lbs. That includes the weight of your carrier and your power chair. I got these for my wheelchair lift to match the two that came with the lift. They are easy to used and you dont have to worry about that expensive wheelchair after they are lock down.
Straps work like a charm for securing the transom on my 20' bass boat while towing.
Put them in the front corners of the trailer. Out of the way but there when I need them. I really like not having to go searching for tie downs.
I use these retractable Ratchet Straps to secure my Harley Davidson Roadglide Ultra to my motorcycle trailer. This bike weighs about 950 lbs wet and these straps hold it securely with no problems what so ever. Good quality, works as described. Would definitely buy again. The retractable feature makes things so much more convenient.
having been mounted to a utility trailer, which is kept outdoors(4seasons of weather), they have held up very well after 1 year of use. I would recommend/buy this product again.

Have no complaints, they are still working well after 2 years of light commercial use!
I like these cargo straps very much.. I use them to help keep a power wheelchair in place on a platform lift attached to my car. Even with limited mobility, I am able to pull the trigger release to unlock the strap, release the hook from the tie-down point on my chair and retract the strap with ease. They mount right to the platform and tighten easily with the handy rachet control. I definitely feel more secure with these handy straps on my lift.
They bolt right on my weatherguard van cargo racks and work great! Securing pipe of all kinds is no longer a chore. Five seconds for the front and five seconds for the back and the load is secure and safe. Wish I would have found these twenty years ago. Will never use anything else. I highly recommend CargoBuckle Mini G3 Retractable Ratchet Straps.

I've used these ratchet tie-downs for a number of years to hold my kayaks in place on my Thule truck bed carrier
With much use - one of the strap units failed ( recoil spring)
I called Etrailer the next day hoping they still carried them
I received the pair today and will have a spare at the ready
For me there is no easier way to secure my kayaks for transport
