Video Transcript for Review of Bulldog Winch Ratchet Straps - Ratcheting Vehicle Tie-Down Strap Set - BDW20349

Micheal: Hi, there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a quick look at the nine-piece ratcheting vehicle tie-down strap set by Bulldog Winch. This is going to feature four from these ratcheting tie-down straps. These straps will help you to secure your vehicle on your trailer. Each strap is going to have a gold zinc plated steel ratchet.

This is going to be very heavy-duty, resist corrosion. Give you a nice strong hold on your vehicle. The ratchets do feature these ergonomic contour handles. It's going to be very easy to cinch your strap. Make sure it's nice and tight. These straps do have a maximum load strength of 10,000 pounds and a safe working load limit of 3,335 pounds.

These straps themselves are a two-inch-wide polyester strap. That's got a gel coat to help resist tears and abrasions. Each strap is going to be eight feet long, so it should be plenty of length for you to reach the axle of your vehicle and get it tied down. Each strap also has a twisted snap hook on each end. This is going to allow you to connect to your trailer's D-rings on the ratchet end and to the actual strap on the other end, which will allow you to operate the ratchet without having to reach underneath your vehicle. The snap hook is also going to help prevent any accidental detachment from your D-rings, so you don't have to worry about this coming loose.

Once it's in place, it'll stay there. The flat ring straps, that you will need to wrap around your vehicle's axle to attach to these, is sold separately. But we do have several options here at etrailer.com.In addition to our four ratcheting tie-down straps, we're also going to get four of these cinch straps to help keep all of our straps neat and organized while they are being stored. You can see we've got one already in place here, just wrapped around both our ratchet and our strap bundle there to make sure that everything.. Instead of having it all jumbled up like a rat's nest, it's all going to be nice and organized so we can easily pick it up.

You could also use it to secure any loose ends of your tie-down straps. Here I've got almost all of the strap pulled out as if I we're to be using it, and then just this little piece is left. So I've got it wrapped around the ratchet and that extra little piece to make sure that that's not going to flap in the wind as we're going down the road. These cinch straps are one inch wide by a foot and a half long. They do have the buckle that's going to allow you to adjust the strap length. Once you have it in place, they are held together by the hook and loop fasteners, so that easily removed, but they hole down well. These are made of a durable polypropylene construction to help resist tears and abrasions. You're going to get four of the ratcheting straps, four of these cinch straps, and then a heavy-duty storage bag. That's going to be the nine pieces of your set.The storage bag is going to allow you to easily store all of your straps inside. It's also got plenty of room for other things if you wanted to add other components, but it does have pockets all around on both sides. Hook and loop secure on this side, and just open on this side. Then, both ends also have pockets. On the inside, we've got a hard bottom and then more pockets on both sides, so a lot of room to stay organized. The top is a zippered closure. We can easily get everything closed in place. Then, our handle and our locks, with both sides, so we have a nice secure handle. It's going to keep everything closed. We also have a shoulder strap that can be attached in several different ways with the mounting points four corners so that we can easily throw this over our shoulder if we're having a little bit of a hike to get to our trailer. All nine pieces of this set are going to be high quality. This bag is a nice canvas type material. It's going to hold up well. It gives you a hundred pounds of storage capacity. It should do far more than just these straps, a great way to keep everything organized. The straps themselves are going to hold up well, do a good job of making sure that your vehicle is going to be secured to your trailer as you're going down the road. This kit does come with a one-year limited warranty. If you we're to have any problems within that first year, you could give us a call. We'd be happy to help you out with that. We always want to make sure that our customers are having a pleasant experience, that you're getting good quality components. Give you a little bit of peace of mind there that if you do have any problems within that first year, you can give us a call, and we'd help you out. But I really don't think you're going to have any problems. I think these are high-quality straps that are going to do a good job of making sure that your vehicle stays where you need it to be, so you don't have to worry about it.That's going to complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..
