Fit like a glove with no vibration. Couldn't be happier.

by:

The hitch was shipped and USPS lost the hitch in Memphis. After 28 days from the first item was shipped, I finally received my hitch after multiple calls to etrailer and USPS. The hitch is great, the shipping through USPS is not.

by:

This hitch is easy to Sam and is a rugged unit

by:

Looks great, easy installation

by:

Perfect fit. Very solid.

by:

I hate to admit that the hitch has not moved one inch from where it was installed. Of course that may be entirely because the trailer it's mounted on has not either... I have no doubt it will perform perfectly when called upon to tow the the small aluminum row boat that will be attached to it. Thanks for the follow up and we'll be sure to keep you all informed of future adventures. RTC, Micheal/China Syndrome survivor.

by:

Bought it for a heavier hitch for my 2000 Polaris Ranger 6x6 and it worked excellent. Just one minor adjustment and it fit like a glove. etrailer is the way to go, will be buying more from them for my new to me 2009 Ford E350 ambulance that I will be using as a tow vehicle for my travel trailer.

by:

Well made, excellent product.

by:

A quality bit of kit. My only problem is the burly box steel bumper on my 1990 LJ78 Land Cruiser is 2" X 4 1/8", apparently, not 2" X 4". So the nice bolts and nuts included in the package don't quite go through the holes at the top. I had to substitute thinner eye bolts. I'm pulling a very light canoe trailer with this, so I'm not worried about the loss in strength. If you have a real cross frame member for a bumper, as I do this is an inexpensive light towing solution. I would have rated it excellent if the bolt holes were somehow adjustable up and down.

by:

We had an interesting choice to make with our RV. We could either take the cargo carrier or the bikes. We wanted both, of course, and this hitch gave us that option.
We always check with etrailer.com first for any parts they might have to meet our travel needs.

by:

etrailer makes ordering parts very easy - always impressed with customer service I get.

The bumper hitch is sturdy, and fit my 2" x 4" trailer bumper perfectly. it is a well built product and is very stable on the bumper.

by:

Very nice specialty receiver for 2" Reese Hitch. Fits on 4" x 2" bumper stock - dimensions are spot on. Finish on surface and edges is smooth...nothing to catch or "bite" during installation!

Thank you

by:

Just received this product, so haven't really used it yet. But wow, it is really built well. I looked at numerous similar products, and am really happy with my choice. Should give us years of great service. May be overkill for a bike rack on the back of our Takena Trailer, but will most assuredly give us peace of mind on our long road trips.

by:

Very good quality but I had to send back as I ordered the wrong bumper size. They were very helpful with making the return easy. I was sent a shipping label.by text and sent it back. Just waiting for my refund. All items I have bought have been of good quality and not high priced. Very Happy.

by:

Wrong product - and no help from etrailer.com in rectifying the situation! I don't think anyone could use this product, and it's not clear enough in the information that it's for a tiny bumper - not a regular RV bumper.

by:

Works great, tow my utility trailer with polaris razor behind my travel trailer

by:

Very sturdy. We use it to hold a bike rack on our trailer.

by:

5 Star Service every time. I put my order in yesterday before noon and it was on my doorstep today before noon. I will recommend etrailer to everyone!!! Thanks Again!!!!

by:

Used for a rear hitch on my 5th wheel to tow the jet ski trailer. Very sturdy.

by:

Well made, easy installation, fast delivery.
Simple
instructions to follow no drilling required.

Great folks to do business with, can not go wrong using this company.

by:

The hitch came on time. Etrailer stayed in touch with me. I am sure it will work great for pulling my flat bottom boat. Have to wait for winter to get over with.

by:

The bumper hitch was what I was exactly looking for. Easy mount to the bumper.

by:

video information was a big help, it eliminated guesswork on my application. fit & finish were excellent & my parts arrived on time.
I will buy from etrailer again.

by:

Have purchased 2 off these and the service is great, fantastic product as well.

Arrived in a timely fashion. Even sturdier than I had expected. Fits my trailer bumper well. I am very satisfied with this product.

  • Recommended Bike Rack for Trailer with Tilting Bumper Mounted Spare Tire
For your camping trailer that has a tilting bumper mounted spare tire, I recommend looking at an RV approved hitch-mounted bike rack like the Swagman Dispatch 2 Bike Platform Rack # S44FR. This will slide into a 2 inch trailer hitch receiver and hold 2 bikes of up to 45 pounds each. When the bikes are unloaded from the carrier, the upright mast can be folded down to allow you to tilt back the spare tire on your trailer for rear storage access. This carrier also includes a hitch and cable...

  • What Size Frame Does Curt hitch # C19101 Fit
The frame of your travel trailer would need to be 2 inches wide and 4 inches tall for the Curt hitch part # C19101 to attach to it. I am not totally sure how you would be using the hitch so this is probably not something we can safely guarantee will work.

  • Determining If Curt Bumper Mount Hitch C19101 Can Carry Bike Rack On 1998 Dutchemen Pop Up Camper
As long as the rear bumper on your 1998 Dutchemen 1203 Pop Up Camper is 2" x 4" then the Curt RV Bumper Hitch - 2" # C19101 you were looking at will work perfectly for you. For a non-trailered load like a bike rack, you will also need to use the Curt Stabilizing Strap # 18050 to keep from voiding the hitches warranty. This hitch has a 350lb tongue weight rating so it will be plenty strong to support your bike rack weighing roughly 160lbs with bikes, but your bumper may not be this strong....

  • Availability of Trailer Hitch to Fit Bumper of 2016 1706 Viking
Go look at the bumper you have at the rear of your 2016 1706 Viking. What are the dimensions of it? Is the bumper welded all the way around or is there an open side? If there is an open side you have a C-channel bumper which the # C19101 would not fit. It would need to be a 2 inch wide by 4 inch tall continuously welded bumper for this hitch to fit. If instead it is 4 inch by 4 inch you would want the part # E-100.

  • Does RV Trailer Hitch for 4" x 2" Bumper Allow Towing
You can use the Curt RV Bumper Hitch # C19101 to tow your trailer and Polaris Razor, but you do need to ensure you are within a number of capacities. The hitch itself has a 3,500 lb towing capacity and 350 lb tongue weight capacity so your trailer needs to fall within those numbers. Additionally, you need to contact the manufacturer of your toy hauler to ensure the bumper can handle towing as it may not be designed for that much stress. This could lead to a very dangerous situation for...

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch And Bike Carrier For 2016 Keystone Fuzion Toy Hauler
You can take a quick measurement of the bumper on your Keystone toy hauler. You said you have a 2-inch and it is not a 4-inch bumper. You may find it is 2-inches wide and 4-inches tall. If that is the case then the trailer hitch I recommend is the Curt RV Bumper Hitch, part # C19101. This hitch has a 350-lb tongue weight capacity and has a 2-inch receiver opening. The other options we offer are for a frame mounted hitch like part # UF35-946403. This hitch will work with I-beam, C-channel...

  • Difference Between Curt RV Bumper Hitches 19101 and 19100
The difference between the two hitches is the size bumper they are designed to fit. The 19100 # E-100 is designed to fit a 4 inch square bumper and the # C19101 on the other hand is designed to fit a 2 inch by 4 inch bumper instead. Basically you'd need to measure the dimensions of your bumper to know which you would need. Most likely it's a 4 inch square bumper though as that is the most common size.

  • 2006 Jayco Feather Sport 17 ft Trailer Hitch Option
I looked up pictures of your 2006 Jayco Feather Sport 17 ft trailer and I couldn't find any pictures of a rear square bumper. You will need to go with an RV rated bike rack though like the ones available at the attached link.

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch for Fifth Wheel Trailer to Tow a Second Light Weight Trailer
We generally do not recommend towing a trailer with a trailer. It is illegal in many states, so you will want to check with the DMV in any state you travel through. Also you will want to check with the manufacturer of your fifth wheel to see if the bumper on your trailer is designed to support any additional weight due to its construction. Some fifth wheels are, and some aren't. That said, it sounds like you may have a 4 inch continuously welded steel RV bumper so you can use the Curt...

  • Availability of Bumper-Mount Hitch for 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 Pickup
We do offer one bumper-mount 2-inch hitch receiver intended for use on a pickup truck, Curt Specialty Hitch # E-3S. This hitch is intended for installation on trucks with a step bumper. The hitch you referenced, part # C19101, is meant for use on a 2-inch RV bumper and so would not be suitable. • Bumper Mounted Trailer Hitch Recommendation for 2 inch Bumper
The best solution I can provide for you would be a trailer bumper hitch like the part # C19101. This hitch is designed to attach to 2 by 4 inch bumpers, but with a 2 inch spacer you could attach it to your 2 by 2 inch bumper. You would need to provide your own spacer. Or you could go with a frame mounted hitch like the part # 13703. As long as your frame is between 22 and 72 inches this hitch would work well for you. You will need to be sure that you are using a bike rack designed for...

  • Hitch for 2012 Airstream Bambi for Bike Rack
You can attach a hitch to the frame of your 2012 Airstream Bambi with the Curt multi fit hitch # 13703 which fits all frame styles that are between 22 and 72 inches wide. This would be only option you'd have but also it is a really great option that does the job well. Then for a bike rack you'd need to go with something travel trailer approved since the ride quality is rougher there than at the rear of a vehicle. For that the Kuat Transfer part # KU84FR would be a great option that also...

  • Trailer Hitch and Wiring for a 2007 Saturn Vue
Actually, if you were to try to install Curt hitch # C19101 it would require a lot more work than the custom fit hitches for your 2007 Saturn Vue. You would have to access the metal bumper beam which would require removal of the rear fascia. Then once you get that removed it is possible, even likely, that the hitch will not fit. Installation of a custom hitch such as # 13591 is much easier as you can see in the video I have linked showing an example installation. I have also included a...

  • Options for Carrying 4 Bikes on a Tent Camper
There are several options for carrying 4 bikes on your tent trailer, however, determining the best option for you will depend on how your trailer is equipped. The best option would be to use a hitch mount bike rack that is approved for use on RVs and trailers. A bike rack like the Yakima LongHaul 4-Bike Rack, # Y02476, would be a good option. The Curt RV Bumper Hitch part # C19101 can be a great choice but it does require a full wrap bumper. This doesn't necissarily mean it is solid steel it just means it is boxed or it has metal on all 4 sides. I explain this further in the attached video. Part # C19101 is for 2"x4" bumpers and the Curt RV Bumper 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver part # E-100 is for 4"x4" bumpers. If you have the 2" x 4" bumper, that is not a c channel, the easiest way to add a hitch is to use the Curt RV Bumper Hitch item # C19101. You can certainly use the Curt Bumper Mount Trailer Hitch, # C19101, upside down. I spoke with my contact at Curt to see if there were any restrictions or further limitations by using this hitch upside down and he told me that you will have no problem using it that way. The capacities of the hitch will stay the same and you can gain more ground clearance for your cargo carrier (which can be a big deal at the back of RVs and trailers).
