Recommended Hitch for a 2020 Vanleigh Beacon 5th Wheel Trailer

Im currently in need of a new rear hitch for my 2020 40flb Vanleigh Beacon 5th wheel camper. The rear hitch is cracked and I am in desperate need of a replacement ??.

I have a couple of options for you depending on what kind of bumper your Vanleigh Beacon 5th Wheel has. If you have the 2" x 4" bumper, that is not a c channel, the easiest way to add a hitch is to use the Curt RV Bumper Hitch item # C19101. This hitch simply bolts to the bumper and provides you with a 3,500 lbs towing capacity and a 350 lbs maximum tongue weight.

The other option is to install a universal hitch like the Curt Adjustable Trailer Hitch item # 13703. This hitch can be welded or bolted directly to your trailer's frame. It fits frames from 22" to 72" wide. It is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver that also has a 3,500 lbs towing capacity and a 350 lbs maximum tongue weight.
