This RV sewer wye with valve is a part of your motor home's waste management system. The Y-configuration combines the flow of wastewater from your gray-water line and your black-water tank. Connect your sewer hose to the 3" lug fitting on the sewer wye and open the valves to drain your holding tanks.

Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the Valterra RV sewer wye with the waste valve, three inch hub and a two inch hub to a three inch lug. Now, this RV sewer wye with the valve is part of your motor home's waste management system. The RV sewer wye will combine a one and a half inch waste pipe and a three inch waste valve. Can be used as a replacement part or to upgrade your existing setup.The wye configuration will merge the flow of waste from your black water tank and your gray water line. The three inch hub right here will slide over your RV's black water line, two inch hub will slide over your gray water line. And then on this end, you just remove the bayonet cap, connect your sewer hose to this three inch lug fitting on the sewer wye and then open the valves to drain your holding tank.The bayonet style cap here will cover the lug fitting when it's not in use.
Just put it on and twist it, holds it into place. You'll notice the cap has this integrated strap or lanyard to help keep the cap connected to the valves.This is all made of a durable black ABS plastic construction. It does require an ABS solvent cement to install this. We do sell that separately on our website. And if you notice on the waste valve, a black handle is designed because that's for your black water tank.
So the black handle will designate that. And this is designed as a right orientation.But that should do it for the review on the Valterra RV sewer wye with the waste valve, three inch hub and two inch hub to a three inch lug.

- Replacement Cable Actuated Waste Valve Options For A 2011 Keystone Montana High Country 5th Wheel Determining the correct replacement for your old waste valves is going to depend on the brand and length of your current cables. If you have Valterra branded valves you could reuse the cables you have and avoid rerouting new cables. You could simply pick the least costly option for the black # TC372 and gray # TC172 valves and just hang onto the new cables. You can remove the four bolts holding your old valves in place and then swap in the new valves so you can void having to cut or glue...
