This sink has a top-mounted, drop-in design. Drop-in (or self-rimming) sinks are generally quicker and easier to install than undermount sinks, and they can be installed into any countertop material. They also have a lip on the perimeter, so that once the sink is installed, the weight of the sink and its contents are transferred over to the surrounding countertop. This better supports and secures the sink, whereas undermount sinks might fall if not installed properly. In addition, because all parts of drop-in sinks are visible, they are incredibly easy to clean.
This sink replaces or upgrades your existing kitchen sink. If not replacing an existing sink, a hole 3/4" smaller than the overall length and width of the sink must be cut in the counter top. Once the hole has been made, the sink just drops into place. Brackets and hardware are included to secure the sink to the counter. The use of silicone sealant (sold separately) is recommended.

It came in perfect condition. The box was big enough to fit 2 sinks. Kind of disappointed in sink quality. The stainless is very thin. Making the sink flex in the middle. The edges will require some straightening to fit flush to counter. The finish is very nice. Smooth and shiny, looks like it will be easy to clean. This sink is replacing the original composite that was looking a little shabby. So its a definate upgrade.

The sink was in stock and arrived in less than one week. It comes with mounting hardware but no basket strainers. A great looking sink. I will be replacing a fiberglass sink in my RV with this stainless steel sink. I have not installed it yet as I just received it.

More dimensions would be helpful for the required cutout. I ordered using the information supplied but had to cut my countertops.
We are very pleased with the sink. I like the finish and the depth. We are waiting for the new countertop to arrive so we can install it in our RV. We wanted more counter space, so this is our new project. Hopefully all goes well.
