Drop-In Mount Design
This sink has a top-mounted, drop-in design. Drop-in (or self-rimming) sinks are generally quicker and easier to install than undermount sinks, and they can be installed into any countertop material. They also have a lip on the perimeter, so that once the sink is installed, the weight of the sink and its contents are transferred over to the surrounding countertop. This better supports and secures the sink, whereas undermount sinks might fall if not installed properly. In addition, because all parts of drop-in sinks are visible, they are incredibly easy to clean.
If you're replacing your sink, you'll simply use the existing cut-out hole in your countertop. If you're upgrading your indoor or outdoor sink setup, you may need to enlarge the hole. It should be 1/2" to 5/8" smaller than the overall length and width of the sink. Either way, once you have a proper size hole, you can just drop the sink in and secure it to the counter using the included brackets and pre-installed mounting studs. Mounting hardware is not included. Once the sink has been installed, it is compatible with any faucet setup and standard 3-1/2" garbage disposals and drain baskets.

Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this double bowl kitchen sink. This is the durable ABS plastic double bowl sink that will replace or upgrade your existing sink in your RV, camper or boat kitchen. This can also upgrade an outdoor sink if you are looking to switch up your outdoor setup. Because this doesn't have any holes for your faucets, this is gonna work with any faucet setup. You're not gonna be limited by that.
The drain hole diameters here is right at about 3-1/2 inches for both. So it should be pretty compatible with your current setup. You can see this does have a nice wide rectangular shape. That's gonna provide more room for washing the dirty dishes. As far as our dimensions go, our overall exterior, we're looking at about 25 inches wide by 17 inches deep, and then just shy of seven inches down to the ring there.
We look at the very top on there, just shy of seven inches, about 6-7/8 of an inch tall. And our bowls are different sizes, so you can see we have a larger bowl here and a smaller bowl here. Our width on our larger bowl is gonna be about 12 inches up here at the top. It is going to taper down to about 11 inches once you get down to the bottom. It's going to be about 14 inches deep at the top, about 13 inches deep down at the bottom.
Our smaller bowl is gonna be about 8-1/2 inches at the top, 7-1/2 inches down at the bottom by about 14 inches, 14-1/8 inch deep by close to 13 inches deep once you get down to the bottom. So very convenient to work in, very easy to wash your dishes, rinse them off from the other side of that sort of thing. And this is a drop-in mount, sometimes called a self rimming design. So you can see we do have this lip along the outside edge. So it is gonna be very easy to get installed, much easier than your undermount sinks.
It's also gonna be much easier for you to clean because you'll be able to see everything and wipe it down very easily. You can see, they do include the mounting brackets that you'll need to get this installed. And if you aren't replacing a sink. If you're putting one in where there wasn't one already, you are gonna need a hole that's about 1/2 inch to 5/8 inch smaller than the overall length and width of the sink to be cut into your countertop. Another really nice thing about these drop-in style sinks is that they can mount to just about any counter surface. So once you have your hole in place, we'll just drop the sink in and it will be ready to support that weight along the lip. Of course, you will have the brackets and other thing that you'll need to put in place. They do recommend using some silicone sealant around the edges to make sure that water's not gonna be able to get around there. If you're splashing, as you're washing your dishes, you don't want it to get down underneath your counter where it could potentially cause mold and that sort of thing. So it is a good idea to seal that up. This is a durable ABS plastic construction. Now, when you hear plastic, you're probably thinking flimsy and cheap, but ABS is a really very durable, scratch resistant thermoplastic polymer construction. So it is gonna hold up really well for you. It's gonna be lighter and more environmentally friendly than fiberglass. So you're also not gonna have to worry about the little fiberglass splinters coming off and that sort of thing. So it is gonna do a really good job for you to hold up well, will last you nice long time. This does meet the IAPMO, the CSA, and the ASME certified standards. So you can trust it is made to those high quality standards. It's gonna do a good job for you, last you a nice long time. It's also made here in the USA, so you can trust it is made to the quality that we've come to expect products that are made here in the US. And this is the parchment color, so you can see it's kind of a light tan, off white, almost kinda yellowish color. We do also have a pure white and a gray that are the exact same sink, same dimension, same materials, just different colors. So depending on what's gonna match your kitchen setup best, make sure you're getting the right color for you. But other than that, I think these are gonna be a really great option for you. I like everything about this sink, but I just installed it in my 2003 lazy daze motor home. First, I added pex 1/2x3/8” shut off valves to isolate the kitchen. Then trimmed the sink opening to 15”x23”for a snug fit to drill six 3/8” holes for the built in tie down studs in the sink rim. I installed the faucet first thru the sink opening( eBay $45, works well), then dropped the sink in and attached the anchors with #3 screws. The sink is very light and sturdy which is great in an rv, and the shipping was very fast. Hope the pics help.

Really nice sink which was easy to install, we can now get larger plates and dishes in this sink and we now don’t have the problem of the water coming from the faucet hitting the center divider and splashing everywhere like it did with the old double sink we took out.

I renovated a 2008 Thor Chateau Sport 29R. The old sink was useless and had to go, it wasn't even 5" deep. I searched a long time and finally decided on the white Better Bath RV Kitchen Sink due to the precise measurements of the current stainless-steel sink. I removed the old sink and found that the opening in the counter was slightly smaller. I measured several times and determined what the opening should be. I was nervous but determined. It turned out to be the perfect fit. I really like the sink, it's classy and modern looking

Just received yesterday and haven’t installed. As far as appearance and construction, it appears to be the same as the standard type sink that all manufacturers use. So nothing exceptional.

Just what I needed, fit perfectly and relatively easy to install. I replaced a divided sink which had two strainers and drains so I had to re-configure the drain pipes. That’s not easy unless you have some plumbing experience.

It is nice looking. It fit my cabinet which is. A house bathroom cabinet. I think stainless steel sink would be better. I couldn't find one small enough to fit the cabinet. It cost too much but at times things are like that. With the screw American plan. I haven't went camping this year. So haven't used it much in a year.

No packing materials were in the box. So, during shipping, the top of the sink was scratched. This is the part that sits on the counter. I'm a little disappointed but, hopefully, they will buff out.

The sink arrived in good conditions and on time. Customer service called me that they did not have the color of the sink when I placed the order on line, but they did have it in another color. I told them to send me that color instead, which actually looks better. They were quick to let me know of the issue and they took care of it immediately. I needed that sink before the end of the week and they took care of me.

- Replacement RV Sink Options For A 13-3/8" x 24-1/2" Cutout Hole The closest double bowl option that we currently offer is the Better Bath RV Kitchen Sink - White # LC29FR. This sink is a top-mount drop-in design and would require a cutout hole 23.94" W x 16.44" L so you'd have to trim the cutout hole larger in order for it to fit. It also comes in gray # LC808488 and parchment # LC85ZR. We do offer a single bowl option, part # LC42UD, that's an undermount design and would have enough of a lip to mount in your 13-3/8" x 24-1/2" cutout hole.

Those options are the Better Bath RV Kitchen Sink - Single Bowl - White # LC32ZR and Better Bath RV Kitchen Sink - Double Bowl - Parchment # LC85ZR. Both sinks are 25" x 17" so you'd need to trim 3/4" from both sides to get them to fit. Neither have a hole cut in them for the faucet so you'll be fine leaving your faucet how it currently...
