Better Bath RV Kitchen Sink Dimensional Diagram

Drop-In Mount Design

This sink has a top-mounted, drop-in design. Drop-in (or self-rimming) sinks are generally quicker and easier to install than undermount sinks, and they can be installed into any countertop material. They also have a lip on the perimeter, so that once the sink is installed, the weight of the sink and its contents are transferred over to the surrounding countertop. This better supports and secures the sink, whereas undermount sinks might fall if not installed properly. In addition, because all parts of drop-in sinks are visible, they are incredibly easy to clean.

If you're replacing your sink, you'll simply use the existing cut-out hole in your countertop. If you're upgrading your indoor or outdoor sink setup, you may need to enlarge the hole. It should be 1/2" to 5/8" smaller than the overall length and width of the sink. Either way, once you have a proper size hole, you can just drop the sink in and secure it to the counter using the included brackets and pre-installed mounting studs. Mounting hardware is not included. Once the sink has been installed, it is compatible with any faucet setup and standard 3-1/2" garbage disposal and drain basket.

Video Transcript for Review of Lippert RV Sinks - Better Bath Plastic Single Bowl RV Kitchen Sink White - LC32ZR

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Better Bath Plastic Single Bowl RV Kitchen Sink. Now, this single bowl rectangular sink is going to replace or upgrade the sink in your RV, camper, or boat kitchen. And the wide shape is going to give you more room for washing larger dirty dishes. Now, at the outset of our time together, I do wanna point out that this sink does come in three different colors. Obviously, the one that I have here is gray in color, but we also have this available in white and parchment, and that parchment is more of a creamier beige color.

And everything that we're gonna talk about that's going to be true of this gray sink is going to be true of that white and parchment one as well. So all the same features, the same build, the same construction, same measurements. So depending on which one you are looking for, you can just take the item number that you see there on your screen and put that in the search field of our website, and that will take you to the particular color that you are looking for. So I do have the gray one here. And this sink is made here in the USA of a very durable, scratch-resistant ABS thermoplastic polymer, which is lighter and more environmentally friendly than fiberglass.

And when you hear plastic, you might be tempted to think that this might be cheap or not well made, but this is very durable, very strong. As you can see, I can't really make it flex or anything like that. It's a very good build quality. The drain hole diameter is 3 1/2 inches. So this is going to be compatible with your standard 3 1/2 inch garbage disposal and drain basket.

And this sink is going to be compatible with all of your faucet setups. And let me go ahead and give you an overhead view, so I can give you some measurements that I will prove helpful for you, so you can be confident that this is going to work for you. So let me give you the exterior length. As you can see, from end to end, we're sitting at 25 inches. And then looking at the width, from end to end, we're sitting at 17 inches.

And then looking at the depth or the height, however you'd like to identify that. Let me go in for a closeup here that's gonna be easier to show you. We are sitting right at about 6 3/4 inches deep or tall. And then the interior dimensions, that might be a little bit trickier to show you, but let's see if I can do that for you. So measuring as best as I can, the inside measurements, looking at that length, we're sitting at about 22 inches. And then this is going to taper in a little bit, so this is going to be at the longest and the widest points here at the outer edge. And then looking at our width internally, we're sitting right at about 14 1/8 inches wide. And then the depth, again, I'll go in for a closeup, we're sitting right at about 5 3/4 inches deep or so. So that kinda gives you an idea of the exterior and internal dimensions. And as you can see, the sink, the bottom of the sink does taper towards the drain, so it's gonna make sure that that water goes into the drain and you're not gonna have standing water in the sink when you turn the water off. So this sink has a top-mounted design, top-mounted, drop-in design rather. The drop-in or self-rimming sinks are generally quicker and easier to install than undermount sinks, and they can be installed into any countertop material. They have a lip on the perimeter, so that once the sink is installed, the weight of the sink and its contents are transferred over to the surrounding countertop. In addition, because all parts of drop-in sinks are visible, it's gonna be very easy, incredibly easy to clean. So if you are replacing your sink, you simply use the existing cutout hole in your countertop. If you are upgrading your indoor or outdoor sink setup, you may need to enlarge the hole. It should be 1/2 an inch to 5/8 of an inch smaller than the overall length and width of your sink. Either way, once you have a proper sized hole, you can just drop the sink in and secure it to the counter using the pre-installed mounting studs. I do wanna point out the mounting hardware is not included with this sink, so you will have to supply that hardware that you need for your particular application to mount this. This is IAPMO certified, CSA compliant, and ASME certified. Well, that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

First of all, I would like to thank Madison for being one of the greatest customer service representative I have ever dealt with. Thank you!! I haven't had a chance to install the sink in the RV, but it is a perfect fit and arrived in good condition. Shipping was fast. Customer service is excellent. Prices were fair. I will be doing repeat business with etrailer in the future.

I renovated a 2008 Thor Chateau Sport 29R. The old sink was useless and had to go, it wasn't even 5" deep. I searched a long time and finally decided on the white Better Bath RV Kitchen Sink due to the precise measurements of the current stainless-steel sink. I removed the old sink and found that the opening in the counter was slightly smaller. I measured several times and determined what the opening should be. I was nervous but determined. It turned out to be the perfect fit. I really like the sink, it's classy and modern looking

Excellent replacement for our 99 airstr eam

by:

Just what I needed, fit perfectly and relatively easy to install. I replaced a divided sink which had two strainers and drains so I had to re-configure the drain pipes. That’s not easy unless you have some plumbing experience.

by:

My wife loves it. It's so much bigger than the double sink we had. There is plenty of room to fill and wash pots & pans.

by:

Nice sink, easy to install.

Not so thrilled with the sink any more. It is stained and scratched and WAY to big for an RV. We are in the process of upgrading to a stainless dual sink but it is a big project because I have to modify the countertop, plus I have to change it to a top-mounted so it is not going to be as functional. :-

by:

It’s a exact replacement

by:

Fantastic service. Have not installed sink yet, but it looks to be of good quality. Placed order and received in three days. Excellent

by:

Looks great and the center tapers so water runs toward the drain. As long as your RV is level of course.

I like everything about this sink, but I just installed it in my 2003 lazy daze motor home. First, I added pex 1/2x3/8” shut off valves to isolate the kitchen. Then trimmed the sink opening to 15”x23”for a snug fit to drill six 3/8” holes for the built in tie down studs in the sink rim. I installed the faucet first thru the sink opening( eBay $45, works well), then dropped the sink in and attached the anchors with #3 screws. The sink is very light and sturdy which is great in an rv, and the shipping was very fast. Hope the pics help.

by:

Really nice sink which was easy to install, we can now get larger plates and dishes in this sink and we now don’t have the problem of the water coming from the faucet hitting the center divider and splashing everywhere like it did with the old double sink we took out.
Many thanks

by:

Just received yesterday and haven’t installed. As far as appearance and construction, it appears to be the same as the standard type sink that all manufacturers use. So nothing exceptional.

by:

The replacement part was just as described and shipping was fast

by:

Easy replacement and perfect fit!

by:

It is nice looking. It fit my cabinet which is. A house bathroom cabinet. I think stainless steel sink would be better. I couldn't find one small enough to fit the cabinet. It cost too much but at times things are like that. With the screw American plan. I haven't went camping this year. So haven't used it much in a year.

by:

High quality product. Sturdy and lightweight. Fit and finish are outstanding

by:

No packing materials were in the box. So, during shipping, the top of the sink was scratched. This is the part that sits on the counter. I'm a little disappointed but, hopefully, they will buff out.

by:

My package came in, however it was missing a part and had to wait another week

by:

This is exactly what I needed for my camping trailer. Hard to find the correct size, but you had it. Prompt delivery also. Thanks.

  • What Cleaners Are Recommended For Use On An RV Sink Made Of ABS Plastic
The Better Bath RV Kitchen Sink # LC32ZR is made of ABS plastic, which is highly susceptible to harsh chemicals. It's best to use a mixture of mild soap and water to clean ABS products and you'll want to use a 100% cotton wash cloth to avoid causing micro-scratches in the sink, causing the loss of the sink's sheen.

  • Does The Better Bath RV Kitchen Sink # LC32ZR Have Space For A Faucet To Be Installed
The Better Bath RV Kitchen Sink # LC32ZR is a drop-in style mount and the lip extends past the bowl 1-1/4". There are posts that sit on the lip approximately 1/2" out from the bowl. If you wanted to have them drop into the hole you'd need a 15-3/4" x 23-3/4" cutout. You could also trim them off though if they'll interfere with your installation. There isn't a hole for the faucet so you would need to have some room behind the sink and a hole drilled through the countertop.

  • Recommended RV Kitchen Sink For A 23-1/2" x 17" Cutout Hole
The closest options we carry to your 23-1/2" x 17" cutout are going to be a bit larger and require you to trim out the sides of the cutout just a bit. Those options are the Better Bath RV Kitchen Sink - Single Bowl - White # LC32ZR and Better Bath RV Kitchen Sink - Double Bowl - Parchment # LC85ZR. Both sinks are 25" x 17" so you'd need to trim 3/4" from both sides to get them to fit. Neither have a hole cut in them for the faucet so you'll be fine leaving your faucet how it currently...
