LaSalle Bristol Stainless Steel Rv Sink 13TLSB27167 Installation Procedure

Question:

Is there a video. I am a bit confused by the instructions for instance -in step 4 the mounting brackets are installed and tightened but the sink hasent been put into the hole yet. In step 5 apply a bead of sealant or butyl tapeto the rim of the sink, near the inside edge. Then put the sink in the hole and press down. Dont the angle clips and wing nuts get in the way? There is no instruction on when to position and tighten the wing nuts to hold the sealant to the counter top. I imagined that I would put the sealant, the sink slowly into the hole, position it, tighten the clamps, clean up the sealant that might squeeze out. I would not be doing it according to your instructions and thus probably doing it wrong. I was wondering if you had a video of the installation that I could watch on line.

I've installed a few sinks, and I can see either method working. The type of clips used on this sink could be installed before hand and then swung out of the way, I'd try to go this route first because it might be difficult to get a hand up under the sink to thread the nuts onto the studs once the sink is in place. This is why Lasalle Bristol recommends putting the clips on before dropping the sink into the counter top.

I'd be more inclined to use a caulk/sealant than the butyl tape.
