2 Installation Options
This sink has 2 installation options for replacing or upgrading your existing kitchen sink: drop-in (or self-rimming) and undermount. If not replacing an existing sink, use the included template to cut out a hole in the countertop.
For drop-in installation, you'll simply need to drop the sink into place and secure it to the counter using the included brackets and hardware. When installed as a drop-in, the sink's perimeter lip will transfer the weight of the sink and its contents to the surrounding countertop, which better supports and secures the sink. In addition, because all parts of drop-in sinks are visible, they are incredibly easy to clean.
For undermount installation, you'll mount the sink from below the counter and attach it with the perimeter lip, which helps increase counter space. The way the lip is positioned will also make it easy to clean food and other debris from the counters without it getting caught in the lip.

Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a Stainless Steel Oval RV Sink. This unit replaces or upgrades your RV sink. It's constructed of a durable stainless steel construction. Features a nice rust and corrosion resistant design. Now when it comes to installing this unit, there are a couple different ways to install it. What's known as a self-rimming installation as well as an under counter installation.
It comes with detailed installation instructions and a really helpful template that shows the cutout lines and everything for either option, so that's really nice that it comes with those, but basically, the self-rimming option installs using silicone sealant and the included hardware kit. Sealant is not included. The under counter option installs using silicon sealant and the included hardware kit, but you will also use fasteners or screws. Those are not included because those may vary depending on the countertop material.Now, you can see here that it's a nice oval shape. Comes with installation instructions and a template for cutting out the installation hole.
I do want to go over the measurements real quick. I measured edge-to-edge going this direction and got a measurement of 13-1/4", very front to very back measures 10-1/2", so if you're doing a self-rimming install, your cutout hole would measure 12-3/4" side to side by 10" front to back. For under counter install, your hole would measure 11-1/8" side to side by 8-3/8" front to back. The sink opening, that's this area right here, measures 11-1/4" by around 8-1/2", and then the drain hole diameter is around 1-5/8".That's going to do it for today's look at the Stainless Steel Oval RV Sink.
