The vacuum breaker lets you attach a handheld shower set (sold separately) to make cleaning mud and sand off the kids, pets, and shower walls even easier. The vacuum breaker also has an anti-siphon device - a small air hole that drains water back out of the hose to prevent your dirty shower water from contaminating your clean water supply.
Using the standard NPSM inlet shanks, slide the new valve and deck plate in place through the already existing mounting holes. Hand-tighten the included mounting nuts against the backside of the wall, and connect the hot and cold water lines. The use of tub and tile caulk (not included) is required.

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Phoenix Faucets 4" Dual-Handle RV Shower Valve. This unit adds or replaces a shower valve in your RV. It's going to feature the dual teacup lever handles, it gives the unit a really nice look, and it's got the vacuum breaker for attaching a hand-held shower. A hand-held shower is not included, that is sold separately. We offer them here on our website at etrailer.com if you're interested. The unit is also designed to prevent water back flow, which is going to help prevent contamination of your fresh water supply.
The unit's made from a durable plastic construction, has a really nice chrome finish. The mounting area is going to require two holes for your installation. Your mount holes need to be separated, on center, by 4". These connection points are going to measure around 2" inches long, these threaded connectors. Outer diameter is 13/16", inner diameter is 1/2".
The diameter here at the connection for the hand-held shower, that's going to be 13/16". You can see that the ends of the teacup lever handles are color coded, so blue is going to signify cold, red is going to signify or indicate hot. Really nice design, very easy to use. Nice, stylish design as well. Measuring edge to edge, the base gives us a length measurement of about 6-1/4". Measuring the base going this direction is only going to be about 2-1/8".
I also took a measurement from the back of the base, or the mounting surface, to the outermost point of the handles, got a depth measurement of about 3-7/8". Simple installation. It does come with the plastic mounting nuts, these go on the reverse side of the mounting area, and it's going to come with the backing plate that goes directly behind the base. You would tighten these down for a nice, tight, secure fit. That's going to do it for today's look at the Phoenix Faucets 4" Dual-Handle RV Shower Valve.

Replaced original bathroom faucet with Phoenix shower diverter faucet. Plastic cover over hole where sink waste pipe went through wall was made from part of sink plastic surround. 3 pics: Two after pictures (note vent pipe opening covered). Installed easily but the design doesn’t make sense as the handles bump into and overlap each other in the center.
Installed , functions well, the shower wand from my 66 Airstream hooked up, I had some difficulty trying to use metal facet lines on the plastic fittings, so I used a plastic female pex and transitioned it to a metal MIP fitting and got it connected. Its is almost, if not all, plastic but I'm sure it is a good value for the price and it closely matches the appearance of the stock facwt.
It looks great but handles don't feel that solid. I'm concerned they might strip/break in the future.

Really the faucet was installed last May. The RV has not had water to it. So have never tested the faucet. It was part of on going refurbishing of a 22 year old Class B+ RV that I bought a year ago. Also part of this work we've ordered and installed from e-trailer your Dometic 310 toilet, a MaxAir Fan, & other items all installed but some untested. The fan works great. The toilet seems to as we made sure the black and grey tanks were cleaned out well by pouring water down the drains and toilet. We will repeat this spring when it comes out of winter storage. The fresh water tank was removed to repair water damage below it and in the wall it blocked both. We also had to sanitize the tank due to mold entering it where previous owners allowed the air intake hose to flap about un-attached causing the leaks and water damage to the floor. We know the Ford Engine is in decent condition but due to so much unexpected work we are behind a good year getting Miss Mini Mo on the road and fully activated. She's come a long ways & with your help with parts like this. Which btw was almost identical to the one removed. We'll treat her with far more respect than the previous owners have. Thanks e-trailer no doubt we'll be back for more STUFF once we bring her out of winter storage.
I replaced the faucet in my 2014 Skyline SkyCat with this faucet. Two great features here: 1) The best feature is the attachment point for the shower hose. This one is on top of the faucet instead of underneath it. When you shut off the water it all drains down and out of the hose, making winterization a breeze. I don't have to detach the hose to drain it. 2) Since the shower hose attaches at the top, it will effectively be a little bit longer which is nice for taller people.

Because etrailer orders are late and I’m not getting anything else there. They should ship their stuff with another shipper they will ship with UPS and that sucks.

This faucet works great in our shower and it prevents the inadvertent movement of the valve while showering. The previous sentence neglect handled valve was prone to unwanted movement in a tight shower.
