The vacuum breaker lets you attach a handheld shower set (sold separately) to make cleaning mud and sand off the kids, pets, and shower walls even easier. The vacuum breaker also has an anti-siphon device - a small air hole that drains water back out of the hose to prevent your dirty shower water from contaminating your clean water supply.
The angled base design of this shower valve tilts the knobs forward, which prevents you from hitting your knuckles on the wall when you're turning the valve on and off. Because of this, the valve is ideal for small or compact RV showers.
Using the standard NPSM inlet shanks, slide the new valve and deck plate in place through the already existing mounting holes. Hand-tighten the included mounting nuts against the backside of the wall, and connect the hot and cold water lines. The use of tub and tile caulk (not included) is required.

Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a four-inch dual-knob RV shower faucet with vacuum breaker. This replaces, or upgrades, the faucet in your RV shower. It features the dual clear colored knobs that make it easy to control hot and cold water flow. Then we have the vacuum breaker, which allows you to attach a handheld shower, which is sold separately. This unit also prevents the backflow of contamination of your clean water supply. We have the nice chrome finish on the unit.
It gives it a really nice look. And it's a complete lead-free design. It comes with a backing plate and two mounting nuts.The hot and cold water line connection points are separated apart from one another, on center, by four inches. Then, when it comes to measuring the length of those, they measure about an inch and a half long. Now, the overall measurements of the unit, going edge to edge at the widest point, which is right here.
That gives a measurement of about six and one-quarter inches. Measuring the base, going this direction, is about two and a half inches. And I did take a measurement from the back of the housing to the outer most point of the knobs, so this would be how far it would stick out from the installation surface, and that measured about three and five-sixteenths of an inch.You will notice that it has a nice angled design, so it kicks the knobs at an upward angle making them easily accessible. That is some awesome customer service right there! Oh yeah, the part was a perfect match too, took longer for the Teflon goop to dry than to install the fixture itself
Fit as it should without modifications. Handle turn is firm so as not to move during travel. Works well.
Not sure what I expected but way better than what came with the RV. I am new to RV'ing and you all made it so easy.

Exact replacement for my Casita travel trailer 2013. Old one was still working fine, I just replaced the faucet because I replaced the sink. I like the fact that etrailer asked for my review a year after I bought the product, some companies ask for a review the day you buy it.

We'd been looking for months for a replacement faucet for our year 2000 camper. After logging off all of my devices (to hopefully circumvent 'relevance'), I ran my search again and etrailer was one of the top results. Because the photos and video were precise, clear, taken from all angles and with detailed measurements, I was able to compare with my old faucet. I was so pleased that it was an exact fit!! I'll be using them again soon. We're still rehabbing this little camper and etrailer is now my go to spot for replacement parts.

Since installing the fixture last year, it has stood up perfectly with use every day. Every. Day. my house is a tiny converted camp and when the original shower fixture fell to pieces I found this fixture as a direct replacement. Still just as great as when installed, no leaks and the knobs are still tight! Glad I found etrailer!!
