Today, we're going to be taking a look Valterra valve fitting adapter. This cap is going to be made from a strong, durable white classic construction. You'll notice it right here, it has the built in seals for leak proof performance. What this cap does is it simply allows for your standard waste valve fitting to be used on a white Thetford valve so if your system's equipped with white Thetford valves, you can purchase this adapter, place it on there and then it converts it or it adapts the fitting or connection point to be used with standard waste valve fittings. That's a really nice design of the unit. Very easy to do. It's got the two hook design right here to fit onto the Thetford valves and then you have your standard hub fitting, bayonet style, to connect your standard waste valve fittings.

Fits great seal touches down nicely on a 1968 Airstream Safari. Excellent customer service.

The product arrived earlier than expected and was exactly as advertised. Best price also. Needed for my 1979 Airstream Argosy, as it has the old style Thetford fittings on the holding tank. I'll be back for more purchases in the future.

I actually bought 2 of these and they both leaked. At first I tried to modify them to make them fit tighter, when that did not work I converted the outlet so it does not need an adaptor.

As others have said, would be better if 4 heavy duty plastic prongs,instead of two. Just thankful valterra makes it for my 1996 Foretravel MH.

This is a must-have for my vintage Airstream 1972 Safari. Works great. No leaks. Customer service from etrailer was perfect.
So why 3 stars? The quality of the product is lacking. My original from 1972 lasted for over 30 years. I think this product could use 2 more hooks or beef-up the existing two. Maybe I was careless, but I broke one after the 8th use. I've ordered extras. Glad that it is available, but would like a stronger version.
Delivery was quick. Product was just what I will need. I will use this union as part of a temporary drain system. It's really helpful to have etrailer and there web site. Thanks to all at etrailer for a job well done.
Why the manufacturer of my trailer, Airstream chose a hose fitting size not compatible with the entire world is beyond me. This handy adapter brings my trailer into conformance with the rest of the world and I might say it is quite happy to now be conforming.
