Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a look at this Ventline Pinnacle 24 inch wide, black, ductless RV range hood with light. This low-profile, powered, ductless range hood is gonna give you versatility in mounting anywhere you need in your RV. It filters smokey, greasy air and recirculates it indoors. The single speed fan draws greasy air through the filter before recirculating it, so the filter is going to keep the air in your RV clean and help reduce odors.

This aluminum mesh filter catches large particles of grease and the charcoal filter within is gonna trap the finer particles and absorb lingering aromas. Now, the filter can be removed for periodic cleaning and replacement. And it is recommended that you do clean this from time to time. And to remove this, you just simply turn this catch here as you saw me do. And then that is going to allow it to be able to slide out of these tabs and it removes pretty easily.

And on the flip side there, you can see that charcoal filter within. And this grease filter measures 7 3/16 inches in diameter. And while I have this filter off, let me show you that fan and you can probably hear it over my microphone. It is relatively quiet but we are right up against it here. And so, as you can see, this single speed fan is gonna do a great job of recirculating that air.

And I can feel a really good breeze coming from the vent here. Now, to replace the filter, it can be a little bit tricky. I have found that just kind of maneuvering the filter in these first two tabs here to kind of get it going and then just sliding it to this far end tab is gonna get it in place and it looks like we are. So, then I'm just gonna rotate this catch back into place and that is going to secure our filter. Now, this bright LED light illuminates your cooktop and counter to let you see what you're cooking.

So, let me go ahead and turn my studio lights off here. And as you can see, that's a bright light for its size and it's gonna do a great job of lighting up your stovetop. And I think it's gonna also light up your surrounding countertop as well. And it virtually lights up my entire tabletop. So, this is gonna be a great light and I can see that it'd be also a good night light in your kitchen for those midnight snacks. And the two rocker switches here at the front is going to allow easy, convenient access for that fan and the light. This is made in the USA of an aluminum construction with a powder coated paint that is going to resist scratching and chipping. And it also features this durable polypropylene shroud that's gonna protect the wiring and switches. Now, this is going to be an easy installation. It's gonna screw in place underneath your cabinet. The hardware to install this is not included. So, if you do not already have that from your previous range hood, then you would need to supply that for the installation. And this does hardwire into a 12 volt line. And as we mentioned earlier, the ductless design is gonna go where you need it. So, there's gonna be no need to install exterior vents. The electrical components do conform to UL and CSA standards. And again, let me just confirm that width with you. We are sitting right at 24 inches wide. And the overall depth, we are sitting right at 18 inches. And the overall height, we are sitting right at 4 3/4 inches tall. Now, earlier I did measure the distance between our mounting holes at the top and at the rear of this hood. And beginning at the top, going horizontally, center to center, I measured right at 20 inches across. And then measuring vertically, I measured center to center, right at nine inches. And then the rear, measuring those mounting holes. I measured, again, beginning horizontally, center to center, we we're right at 19 9/16 inches across. And then vertically, 2 1/2 inches. Now, the minimum mounting distance above your stove is gonna be 15 inches. And the minimum cabinet depth is going to be 12 inches. And again, this is gonna be a 12 volt DC and draws about five amps of power. Now, we do have a version of this with stainless steel trim and everything else is identical.
