Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the C-Clip Door Holder.This is just going to be a simple clip to hold your door in place so you can load in your luggage, accessories, gear, or things like that into your RV or your enclosed trailer, or really anywhere you want to use this. So basically we just have this little metal piece that's going to connect into that C-shaped holder and I'm just going to press down on that. You can see it snaps into place, holds nice and tight, so even if there's a strong gust of wind, our door is not going to come free until we're ready to pull it off of there. And then we can close our door.Comes with the hardware to mount this up.

We only need two screws for each of these pieces, so you get kind of an excess here. We'll get four screws that have white painted caps and then four just regular silver screws, so it kind of depends on what you want. If you want that silver head two of the bolts, or all white, or maybe a mix of the two, any way you want it, you can have it there. As far as the metal here, that's going to be made of a zinc-plated steel, so it should be pretty durable. The C-clip portion is going to be made of plastic.Our base here for the metal portion is about 2-1/4" wide.

Mounting holes are about 1-1/2" inches apart center to center. There is a little bit of flex there with the design of this, so if you need to make it a little bit narrower, a little bit wider to fit with some pre-existing holes, you can definitely do that. The height is about 3" from the base to the top, and the width is about 5/8". For our C portion on our C-clip, it's about 2" long by 1" wide and about 7/8" tall or maybe 15/16" tall.So, should be a pretty easy to use, easy to install piece to keep that door open when you need it to, but that's pretty much going to do it for our look at the JR Products C-Clip Door Holder.
