Michael: Hi, there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the C-Clamp Door Holder. This is going to allow you to hold your RV door open, so a gust of wind or anything like that won't be able to slam it shut causing potential injury to yourself or a guest or a pet. You can see it's got a very firm hold onto our knob here. So as we open the door, we can put it in place, and then when we want to close the door, we'll pull on it.

It'll take a little bit of effort, but that will be good because we don't want it to get away from us in a windstorm.But very simple to get installed. We're going to have one mounting point on the bottom, one mounting point on the top of both of our brackets here. We are going to get four of these mounting screws included in our kit. These mounting screws are right about 1" in length, so whether you want to mount this piece to your door and this to the wall behind your door so that when it opens it goes in place or vice versa, whichever you think would be most convenient for your setup.This is the white, polar white color. When we have it connected, I'll give you a measurement here to show you how far this is going to stick out.

It's right at 5-1/2", dead on with 5-1/2". We'll still have a little bit of room there behind our door. The door's not going to swing all the way to our wall. It's not going to bang into it or anything, and this will line up nicely and just pop right into place. And then, like I said, it's pretty difficult to get that pulled out, but it should be much easier when you have this mounted onto a wall and a door.

You pull on the door, it will pull out. But we don't want it to be too easy, obviously, because we want it to hold the door in place like it should, and I think it's going to do a good job of doing that for you.So if you're in the market for a door holder to make sure that the door doesn't close when you don't want it to, I think this is going to be a great option for you.
