Today we'll be taking a look at the Camco RV baggage door catches, part number CAM44173. If you ever ran into any issue with opening your door and not having anything to hold it upso you have to use one arm to reach in, grab your stuff, sometimes this falls down and hits you, or whatever, these door catches will solve that problem. They're an easy install. All you need to do, isit has two holes for screws, so you find a fixed point on your camper using self-tapping screws, or it also has a very flat surface so you can use some double-sided tape, as long as it will adhere to your camper. Once you have them mounted you'll be able to open your door and they're spring loaded, so they'll close to catch your door. They'll hold it up against thecamper freeing up both hands to load and unload your cargo. This package does come with two polar white door catches.

I replaced 4 of these to replace the plastic ones that had broke. These fit perfectly. They still look and work as good as the day I put them on.

Tried to order the RV baggage door latch from other RV sources but they all had three screws which would have required me to redrill holes in the trailer. Your latches retained the original two screw connection which matched exactly the same configuration as the original equipment latches. Took 5 minutes to install and were a perfect match.

The doors on my toy hauler pass-through basement open side ways and do not have any way to keep the doors open. I installed one of these spring loaded latches on each side of my trailer with 3M double sided tape as I am reluctant to drill holes in the fiberglass. They work extremely well and are easy to latch/unlatch with one hand and are effective at keeping the doors all the way open against the side of the trailer, even in the wind. My wife thinks they are great too.
Replaced all of my door catches due to one breaking and realized that I was on the verge of two more breaking while replacing. The product worked fantastically and I am glad that I decided to purchase more and replace all of my storage door catches at one time. Smart move and great product. Perfect replacement fit. I could not find ones with the same hole spacing in the 3 trailer stores that I visited in person. etrailer needs to list the size & hole spacing on their catalog (maybe its there but I did not see it). I took a gamble that they would be good & I was not surprised that they fit like a glove. They have a great spring in the latch. I had bought some cheap ones on the internet form another site & they were junk. Stick with etrailer & you get good stuff! Thanks
Our 18' Wolf Pup camper came with 6 overhead cabinets - but no supports to hold doors open when retrieving things! These baggage door catches can attach to our ceiling with double faced tape or screws, and now we can use 2 hands for plates, coffee stuff, cookware and canned veggies! Thanks!

Fit perfectly to replace the damaged ones. I bought a few extra to replace as needed. They'll keep breaking off I'm sure. I wish someone made metal latches.

Product was fine. Mounting holes were not same as my old one but made it work. My camper was a 2005. They might have changed it the last 18 years. Otherwise everything fine.
The original ones crumbled from the Arizona desert heat, these were an easy replacement and work great..
I order some latches that hold a compartment door open. The order was filled in a timely manor and delivered before expected date. I would order from here again.
