Today, we're going to take a look at the Curt steel clevis pin with the handle and the clip. Now, this hitch pin will secure your ball mount or other hitch mount accessory in your trailer hitch receiver. The clip will insert into the end of the pin here to hold your pin into place. It does have a nice extra wide rubber-coated handle on it. Makes it very easy to grip, making installation and removal a snap. And it is a welded steel construction.
It's very strong and durable. If you notice on the pin itself, it has a black powder coating on it to resist corrosion.This can also be used as a coupling pin when you're towing with an ATV, UTV, or lawn tractor.Application, this is designed to fit into two-inch or two and a half inch hitches. The pin diameter is five-eighths of an inch. Overall length from one end to the very other end, that's going to be right at seven and a quarter inches. And just the pin length itself is going to be right at four and five-eighths inches.But again, once you install this, then you just take your clip and you just push it on and that'll hold it into place.
And then to remove it, just pull your clip off and you can remove your pin. But that should do it for the review on the Curt steel clevis pin with the handle and the clip..

We carry pins here that will be perfectly acceptable to use, but we do not have a direct replacement for the pins that came with your Curt base plate # C59JR. Curt does make a generic clevis pin. We have; # C45805 for a 1/2" diameter pin. # C45804 for a 5/8" diameter pin. # C45803 for a 1" diameter pin.

Steel pins like this have a capacity that far exceeds anything they're used with. The tow vehicle or ball mount would give out long before the pin.
