Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the Bulldog Gooseneck Trailer Coupler. This is designed to work with two and five sixteenth inch balls, and has a max gross towing weight of 25,000 pounds.The nice thing about this trailer coupler is that it has the oversized handle here at the back, so even if you're wearing large work gloves, you can still get that coupled and uncoupled easily. To do that, so right now it's closed, you pull up and flip it over into that second position up at the top. That's going to be the open position. Drop it down, make sure it secures all the way, and flip it to either side to keep that secure. You can put a little lock through the holes there to keep that secure, so no one can tamper with your trailer.Also, at the bottom, it's going to have that cast locking plate, and that's going to fit tightly around that two and five sixteenth inch ball, which is going to reduce chucking and jarring.
It also has this large plate that's going to self-center the ball, so that even if you miss it by just over an inch, it will still find a pocket there.It does have superior high-strength steel. It is not painted, so that you can get it welded onto your Gooseneck trailer. Once you do get that welded on there, you will need to paint it to prevent rust and corrosion. Bulldog has already taken that into account, so they have all their labels and everything covered with a protective layer so you can just go ahead and paint this all up. Once you're done, you can remove the layer and you'll have all your stickers, with all the ratings and information, ready to go.This is, also, adjustable.
To do that, you pull the clip on one side, pull out the pin. You want to have your securing bolt and nut adjusted out as well, so that you can move that inner and outer tube. This does have eight inches of travel. At the retracted height, which is the position it is in right now, is 29 and a third inches. At it's height, it will be 37 and a third.
Again, that range of adjustment is eight inches. The outer tube diameter is going to be four and a half inches. The inner tube diameter is going to be four inches. The pin diameter is going to be three quarter inches. Again, that max capacity is 25,000 pounds.That's going to do it for a look at the Bulldog Gooseneck Trailer Coupler..

This part arrived on-time and was as expected. I would have preferred to purchase just the inner tube, but Bulldog doesn't package it this way. Etrailer did make the effort to secure just the inner tube from and I appreciated the effort.

I haven’t installed it yet but it looks of very good quality. The shipping was expensive but that’s just how things are now days. I am looking forward to making a new tongue hitch for my 5th wheel camper to convert it to gooseneck. This will work perfectly. Thanks

Replacement on our hay trailer was the call for the hitch. It was easy to weld on and I like the pin on this hitch. It never moves like ones that are just jam nut tight. Can run down the road and not worry that this hitch will move out of ajustment. Fast shipping and a great company to work with.

I recieved your new gooseneck piece for the repair on my trailer I bought that was built from scratch of an old man that passed away I bought from his window and have not yet had the opportunity to replace the old piece that would not interact with most other gooseneck applications because the pipe was not large enough to fit other applications out there so decided to change it to be compatible with other trailers

- Adapter to Tow a 5th Wheel Trailer with a Gooseneck Trailer Hitch in a Ford F-350There are specific adapters that you can use to tow a 5th wheel trailer with a gooseneck hitch, but coupler # BD0289250300 is just a gooseneck trailer coupler and cannot be used for this purpose.
