Speaker 1: Today, we're taking a look at a three LED, low profile strobe light. This narrow, LED strobe light has three LEDs and features 16 flash patterns with alternating and synchronized functions. This light is ideal to fit narrow spacing in the vehicles front grill or between the rear bumper and the tailgate of pickup trucks. The strobe light is rated IPX8 for waterproof design and it has an SAEJ595 class one rating and it's CA13 certified. The LEDs make great replacements for incandescent lights. They last longer.
They burn brighter. They're more efficient. With LEDs, you don't have to worry about replacing bulbs and you don't have to worry about brittle filaments. This unit features a nice, clear lens with clear LEDs. It also comes with your mounting brackets and your mounting hardware.
Now I laid out the instructions here because I do want to show you that you have the universal brackets, which are the flat brackets and then you have the L brackets. So it allows for a nice, versatile mounting options and it also comes with the necessary hardware to get the brackets attached to the light and to get the unit mounted to an installation surface or area. When it comes to the wiring, it's a three wire design. So you have your red wire, which is your main power wire. Black is your ground and yellow is for synchronization and changing the flash pattern. So you can connect multiple lights together.
When it comes to the overall dimensions of the unit, measuring edge to edge going this direction, we have about 5 1/8". Front to back measures about 1 1/6 to 1 1/8" and then measuring this direction is about 5/8 of an inch. We're gonna go ahead and hook it up to power. That way, you can see what it looks like with some power running to it. We'll also turn off our overhead lights, so you can see it in a low light setting.
I do want to point out that one of the settings or one of the patterns that it has is that solid pattern, which is where all the LEDs are on.When you're ready to change the flash pattern, you need to take the yellow wire and just apply it to 12 volt power or to the power source. This is rated for applications ranging from 12 to 24 volts. But every time you attached the yellow wire to power, it'll change the flash pattern and again, you got 16 flash patterns to choose from with this unit. Now it is a three diode system, so three LEDs. The multi-diode design really helps optimize the overall light output. Voltage is 12 to 24 volts and amperage is 0.74 amps at 12 volts. I'll got ahead and cycle through a few more flash patterns. That way, you can see what all it has to offer. Really nice design. I'm just changing the flash pattern as I'm talking. Very bright design. Again, three diodes. Clear lens allows plenty of light to come through. Also, the instructions do indicate each flash pattern. So I'll show you that reach quick as well. On the reverse side, down here at this chart, they're all labeled. So you got one through 16 and then each one has a name that goes with it.It also goes over your wiring functions with that wiring diagram as well. That's gonna do it for today's look at the three LED, low profile strobe light.
